#1 should be NEVER waste Stamina. In Sandrock, refilling Stamina is not as easy as drying some apples for infinite Stamina. Food is hard to make and comes in limited quantities, due to stores only having a stock of 20 ingredients. Wasted Stamina means missed materials, which means missed Commissions.
Love your delivery.. Lots of tonal range makes it very easy to follow what you are saying and bring your content to life. You would be surprised at how many UA-cam content creators are monotone or speak too quickly ... or worse, Both! As a gamer I use UA-cam ALOT, for tips/hints and sometimes some 'letsplay' or story content. Its quite rare to come across videos as alive and fun as yours. Keep up the great work :)
A recommendation esp for beginners of sandrock is when low of energy at mid day. Go to Owen place for discounted dine in food. Its a cost effective way to regain energy
This is a great video - just one quick update on the full release that challenging a townie to a match and losing does not lose relationship points as far as I can tell. In many cases, I've gained points. Is this true for others?
I loved this video! Thanks! I can’t wait to dive into this game. All your videos have made me extra pumped! I know it’s gonna be amazing!!! Subscribed!
I read the title and I was like: "Never join a town and be a troll, pick up every machine and sell it, unbuild the house, get the rare items out of the shared box and leave." But apparently you say different things to not do.
Don't try to name any of your boxes for "salvage" because for whatever reason, the devs thought any use of the letters vag in a word in that order cannot be used ever..... Unless they are talking about their own use of the word salvage in multiple places.
You don't have to do it, but it is an option if you want to practice your fighting skills without getting a game over or using up your needed stamina and health increasing foods.
@@theindiejurnee Oh, ok, that makes sense. I thought it was a weird requirement like when games make you beat someone in a race so you can hire them as a driver type thing.
9: be careful when taking the elevator after working in the mine shaft. WALK or you may fall 💀🪦the people of sandrock clearly have no understanding of safety at work.
tell me what to do to save the whole house in the showroom, I just click on the house, but you only convert part of it and because of this I can neither save nor move it
No you don't warp home, you just have to reset to the last save point. So it's not TOO bad, unless it's been a while since you've saved and you've done a lot in that day.
@@Tuggs22 I'm sorry small child but what they did can't be called finished. Instead of improving their buggy mess and making the game better they decided to make a new game instead of DLC.
@KatastrophicNoodle Yes! Let's name call because someone has a differing opinion of you. Portia is more than what was originally promised. Did they go ahead later and make commitments that they arguably didn't follow through on? Sure. The game had an ending and i had a blast the entire time. Keep being angry and crotchety though.
@@KatastrophicNoodleGaming is a privilege, not a right so go whine somewhere else. Portia had plenty, and was a great game all around. If you don't like "My time at Sandrock" then simply don't buy it. The rest of us will go on having a blast playing it without you 🤷🏿♂️
why is this titled 8 things to never do i am almost done with the video and you are just listing stuff to do and some of them are not even good tips like the salvage yard one if you dont have time or the stamina to get the salvage its ok to skip getting it for a day I would not make that a priority just because you paid 200 gols for a week pass. Better tips would be make sure to farm dew to get more water because that is something people run out of fast if you craft a lot.
I have already addressed dew farming as well as other tips in a previous video. Tips are suggestions, not things that must be done. Everyone plays their own way.

Thank you so much! It is greatly appreciated!!!!
I love your tonal range. Brings memories back from my childhood and makes it really that much enjoyable to watch
Awww why thank you! I truly appreciate that and I appreciate you stopping by!
Thank you for making a video that isn’t 20 minutes of rambling! :)
I don't like rambling videos either. Direct and to the point!
I always really appreciate videos like these to help you gain a successful start and play through! Great tips video Jurnee!😊
A beginner trying to lead the beginners lol 😆
@@theindiejurnee hahaha hey now, we all start somewhere and it's always a nice thing to share what you know and have learned!😊

Me too

I threw myself off a cliff thinking there was no fall damage like portia jajaja sad to say it wasnt so lol
That's exactly how I learned too 😄....the hard way
@@theindiejurnee def lolol i laughed my ass off tbh like nope this one does have fall damage lol
@@letsbeecozy same! I tried. I failed. 😄
omg! Thank you for the clear, to-the-point video! I love your style!
You are so welcome!!!
I think that maybe making friends with the bird named X by giving him shiny things, that earns friendship points with the doc
Good to know. At this point in the video I hadn't been able to gift either one and I only saw X alone once. I appreciate it.
It earns a few, but Fang is simply difficult to befriend until after his quest involving Arvio is done. After that, he accepts gifts.

I'm glad these were helpful!
Thanks for the great tips! I just got the game and have no idea what I'm doing. 😂
Nice video, i subbed
Why thank you so much!!! Greatly appreciated!
Sometimes doing the stuff you should not do is just as important as doing the stuff that you should.
Very very true! Thank you for watching!
What a delightful video. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
I;ve never played sandrock but im already in love with Fang UGH
I spent so much time working to win him over. Was and is worth it
Great advice for these out there spending Time at Sandrock. Mans always got snacks for adventures in game and IRL
I know I like snacks for IRL adventures too!

Turning your character in blue made me laugh hard!!!.... can't stop hahaha.
It was quite unexpected!
It's weird that you have to battle NPCs that you want to be in a relationship with🤔, that aside excellent video per usual.

Gifting every townie poop every day.
So they've brought back death in Sandrock? Do they warp you back home if you continue like they (eventually) did in Portia?
No you don't warp home, you just have to reset to the last save point. So it's not TOO bad, unless it's been a while since you've saved and you've done a lot in that day.
how do i get more energy... after the salvage yard im under half energy. and then almost kind of usless for the rest of the day
Certain foods give you more energy. Also sitting on chairs or benches.
You can give gifts to the fang if you complete a mission.
Is in Sandrock universal gift for everyone?
In my time at Portia were Roses.. and here ?:)
Water always gets me a lot of points.
1: Buy the game and support the devs for abandoning Portia.
There aren't any torrents for it yet are there?
They finished Portia... da fuq you on about?

Buy games that require patches, as you are supporting paying for broken games.
