It's not Lake HOron, It's lake HUron. Pronounced exactly like it looks. HEW ron is how you say it. The Huron were a Native American tribe.

You need to fix the audio.
Sound intros are blasting out and the voice is extremely muffled.

I visited Ireland and Scotland 3 years ago, saw Malin Head in County Donegal. They call that their Pearl Harbor. Visited Culloden, too. It felt very much like Gettysburg, eerie.

Your take on Antarctica, concerning its having been plush with beautiful forest and vegetation convinces me that the scriptures are validated. Scriptures say that half of the water on this planet was surrounding the planet like a bubble. This caused it to have an even temperature around the whole planet, (green house like), with the sun as its means of heat. This made almost the whole planet tropical, (Florida like). I once heard on a radio talk show, two scientist overwhelmed to find tropical trees, (cypress trees) at the North Pole. I know most people do not want to consider this to be true. And not because it being possibly true. But mostly because they don’t want it to be true. But that t does not change the truth. 😉

Imagine taking small samples of poison just like in the movie "Riddick" and growing resistant against that. Now that is real human power. This also reminds me of a scene in the movie Titanic. The person Jack and Rose look to as they get pulled underwater by the wreck survived by getting drunk af. He didn't die of hyperthermia because of the alchohol level in his blood. Fantastic.

hi, Katrina! the antarctic continent was once farther north as a part of pangea and gondwana land masses. probably has much to do with the rain forest remains. it's cool that they found the pilots remains, although they should have been left in situ. try to find out who it was and notify family but, leave him to his resting place, in the "coffin" where he has lain all these years. just sayin'. once again, hats off to you and your site. informative and entertaining! 442nd! yay!

It is the military's duty to attempt to find and return all soldiers home to their loved ones. No matter how long it takes. It would be a failure of duty to leave that man behind.

Katrina - Antartica, before, the great freeze, both north, and south, was semi-tropical, over 45%, of the land mass area. Check out, the Peri-Riess map, which shows, the coastal area of Antartica, prior, to 1400 AD
