Jamil Tan The digital zoom interpretation wasn't correct. The digital zoom of the Pixel 3 is surely not better in low-light conditions than it is in good light conditions, the reason is actually that the Note 9 and iPhone Xs are just worse in low-light conditions because they don't use the second camera in low-light conditions. So it was a digital zoom vs digital zoom comparison in low-light conditions.

Where would it be? There's only the Super Slow Mo option on the Note 9. Quality and FPS are greyed out, I cannot change them to 1080p 240. You could definitely to that, when it came out. Tried this on 2 Note 9's and got the same result :/
I have the note 9 and you can use slow motion '1080 and 720' you just have to add them to the quick select bar at the top by going into settings on the camera app and clicking on 'edit camera modes.' There was also an firmware update last week that improves the note 9 camera dramatically. Your selfies have been taken with the auto beauty mode on. It's very confusing at first but you have to double select the filter to completely turn it off. Also the HDR is a little temperamental on auto unless you force it to stay on through the settings.

Awesome camera comparison, makes me feel better about the Note 9. IMHO the Note 9 in an all-around A+ device. The Pixel 3 seems like it’s a Pixel 3S, maybe next year Google.

Wow this was a real battle of the titans, the two best flagship cameras of 2018 head to head and honestly it's hard to decide which one is better. Why did you compare the video stabilisation on the note at 60fps to the pixel at 30fps ? As when 4K 60 FPS is selected on the Note 9 it clearly states at the bottom of the selection screen that video stabilisation is not available when recording at 4K 60fps.I know this as I have the Note 9.

Regular showmo exist on the note 9 too. You need to go to settings and enable it also you can enable food mode or disable any camera mode as you like it
Note 9 do has option to record slow motion 1080p@240 fps. Its not enabled by default. You have to enable it in modes option in settings.
I was going to buy from one of these and this video helped me a lot...best comparison vdo ever.. covered all sections
I have note 9, but that pixel 3 front camera makes me jealous. Dem details is so good
I am using note 9 and Xs max! Really good video! Keep it up!
This was a great review. We can tell you put in a lot of effort into helping people making a better decision. Keep up the awesome work.
Btw guys the note 9 got a huge camera update 2 months after this video was made and it makes it alot better
If Google Pixel XL3 comz without Notch, ( with chin or Small Notch) then this wil be a Perfect Smartphone for 2018 and Big competitor for all all other flagship Devices....
Samsung used to have a night mode option in their camera. I hope it comes back because it used to be so good! Now all the other phones are introducing this feature. Why did Samsung get rid of it???
Which note 9 you have exynos or snapdragon?Has the exynos one got the update
Exynos
@@ZONEofTECH Hey had the phone got the big camera update which it was suppose to get?More than the 300mb one?Or was it before the update,I have heard the samsung has significantly improved the camera after that update,so I wanted to know if those photos were post the update?
I had a pixel 2xl but too many problems made me switch. To save some € I chose note 9. In general use pixel camera is slightly better but note 9 is very close. Note however is much better phone when it comes to things that are not camera related.
This is actually i want, great job man
This may be a silly question but did you change the Pixel's camera app panorama resolution to high? Also great video, easy to tell you put a lot of effort into your videos, keep it up.👍
Samsung obviously uses the bigger sensor as the night shots and video in particular are killer.
And camera was the main(only) thing they actually talked about during the event...
Does anyone know if the most recent note 9 HDR update improved the overexposure in pictures?
Great and unbiased comparison.
Thanks you for the videos man
Really appreciate your work. Thanks for such a interesting video ✌️✌️😊😊
Great video Daniel. Thank you! I prefer the Note 9, especially for video. It looks very sharp and detailed. Low light is great too. Sound is better I believe. But then, Note 9 gets so much done right.
Great comparison video. I went with the Note because the Pixel doesn't have enough storage for me. I need that sd card support. 😉
one of the most fair camera comparison
This was a very informative video of probably two of the best cameras. I still don't know which camera I like better overall!
Note9 is a better option because in India if we compare both on price 128gb variant cost rs 58K (approx $788) but pixel 3XL cost 87000 (approx $1182) these amounts are after retail discount. On software feature note9 custom applications add more value to it.
This video after note 9 camera update ??
Watching this on my note 9. Glad I skipped the pixel 3. But it's a good phone. Screen on this thing is out of this world.
