God damn that's a steep mountain. Been wanting to get out to ride it but a full face and some armor seem like necessary investments before I give it a go.
@@jasenswick7725 especially considering how little steep riding there is to progress on around Edmonton. Gotta make that drive to get some reps in, no easing into it.
Nice video, I just rode there a couple weeks ago. Super steep, definitely need a way to ferry up to the top, even on my e-bike I was only able to make 3 runs that day. Killed the battery in 3 climbs (plus exhausted after the climbs). I'm just not good enough for most of the trails there, was so steep, rooted, and rocky I didn't really enjoy the ride other than the lower trail we rode at the end, sorry, can't remember the name of it just know that it was on the left side of the road on the way down. Really nice location, easy daytrip from Edmonton area. I'll probably try to visit again once I've had some more time on the bike this summer, this ride was my first real ride of the summer so very rusty. Hidden gem for advanced riders 😁
