Back in 08 when I was 18, I remember hearing Hey John What’s Your Name Again. It was life changing to say the least. these guys along with bands like A Day to Remember, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red etc. have been the soundtrack to my adult life. They helped through my 2 deployments when I was in the Army. My marriage. My divorce. My fight with alcoholism. To watch them still progress through all the years still gives me hope. Whoever is reading this and going through something, remember you’re not alone. We are united through our love to this music. Keep pushing.
prada has reached their fine wine stage. dear love was my first listening. I’ve been an avid fan since 2008. after dead throne I lost love for this band. became too melancholy and releases to me were too flat. ZII had me curious but the last 3 singles have shown me this era is finally where they get it. we now hear all the influences meshed. this is wonderful.
I'm falling back in love with this band again. At 27, I'm feeling like I'm 14 all over again. All of the new music is the best they've ever released! I was a fan of The Act, but it didn't have immense staying power for me to go back to it time and time again. Color Decay is shaping up to be an all timer! The current line up is so strong, and I'm so happy that Jeremy and Mike have found a supporting cast as passionate as them to continue this project and breathe new life into it. I hope Prada finds their way to the top again! They are genuinely one of the best bands in metal right now.
I've been listening to these guys since plagues came out my junior year of high school. It's incredible just how much they've grown and changed as a band while still sounding uniquely like themselves.
1:14 I really like how they highlight the four newer members of the band during these scenes. These four have managed to add a very fresh feeling while retaining the inherent sound unique to TDWP.
We've been inspired by the TDWP guys for years now. They absolutely never miss! If you dig this sound/heavier stuff, I think you would like our new song "The Human Condition"! Go check it out and let me know what you think! Stay rad my friend! 🤘
I don't know if it's the meaning but I love that you can see Mike and Jeremy alone on one hand and the rest of the band together on the other, to show the transition of TDWP. Only 2 of the original members are still in the band, but at the end they all leave together, and still make powerfull and amazing music through "Time".
Everytime I think, "They've hit their peak this time. You can't keep pumping out material better than stuff already considered masterclass." They continue to prove me wrong. They simply break every ceiling.
I love all Prada records but these singles make me feel like we're about to get my favorite album from them since the Dead Throne/8:18 era. These melodies and choruses have been so captivating.
The ending shots of the band all walking down the street together stirred more emotion in me than I expected. The melancholy slow-fade of the instruments coupled with the looks on their faces, especially Mike's in a few shots, reminded me of our fleeting youth. (ofc the lyrics don't exactly dance around that concept either) For the first Time in a while I remembered these guys have been making music for nigh on 20 years now, and it made me reflect on how I've spent my own Time. Great song, even greater record!

While Roots and 8:18 were okay, I haven't liked much by them with the exception of the first Zombie release. While I agree, there are some good parts of their instrumentals, I don't particularly find the newer music great all around. The last album I bought of theirs was 8:18 and everything since I just stream on Spotify but I haven't liked any of their releases enough to buy. I'm glad you enjoy it and I'm glad they're still making music but as with newer Architects music, it's just not for me.

Man this song hit me hard... In my view it tells a story about depression and how numb we stand throughout this process, watching the time "moving like lightning" as we are not able to keep up (I've been there). At first I didn't get the final sequence but paying attention to the lyrics and the music video I came to find not only a cool shot but a very emotional one. During the song the band is seen "opressed" by dark thoughts or something and in the end they finally get to get out finding the light and freedom (or at very least getting to live one more day). When you released 'Zombie EP' in 2010, it became my top 2 favorite and hoping that one day there would be a sequel to that masterpiece. Then 2021 made my dream come true, you guys released "ZII" and I was literally crying since I've been waiting for that day to come. You guys truly mean a lot to me! Your music and your journey made me who I am, and make me want to live this cruel life. Please don't stop making music! I will forever support you guys! and please come to the Philippines!!!
I’ve not listened to The Devil Wears Prada in years, but I am singularly impressed with this single. This is a mature, rich sound that’s heavy, but catchy as all hell. I’m about to register to their entire back catalogue
Been craving these 1 on 1 shots with Mike and Jeremy since Transit. Great to see Jeremy without his guitar and mike showing pure emotion in this performance. They finally found their "new" sound and we as a community are so proud of them. Well done TDWP! Cant wait for September!
Okay, not AS heavy as I anticipated, but the synth and verses are super catchy and groovy. Overall, favorite single so far. Awesome video & lyrics too. Patiently waiting for this new album.....
Love the wholesome comment section. I've been listening to these guys since 08 or 09. The recent singles has been phenomenon. TDWP always has been my favorite band. I seriously can't wait to them live on the zombie tour.

We have the Metal revolution coming this year and it’s insane! Demon Hunter, Becoming the Archetype, Norma Jean, TDWP, Silent Planet, Fit for a King, etc.
People keep saying, "album of the year". I'd say, all time. That's after dead throne, 818 and the act. This is pretty much all I listen to, homeboy. Just bought a shirt and a hat. I'm excited.
Super stoked for this upcoming EP, I remember listening to Dogs Can Grow Beard All Over, and a little more than a decade later they are putting out STILL Amazing music, I dont think there was even one album since then I didnt headbang to. Keep on going, TDWP !
Been listening to these guys since 2008 when I barely turned 9. I’m 23 now and I’m still in love with their music and the new sound. They literally never disappoint me. Seeing them grow up and reflecting back on growing up too, I’m just so happy for them and I’m happy that they gave me some of the best memories as a kid, teenager and a young adult. There aren’t enough words I could say that explains the love I have for this band. After so many original members leaving, they continued to put out great music with new members, changed their sound and it has completely worked out for them. When they said this would be their best record, I believe it. The Act has a very special place in my heart and I know this will too. Cannot wait to see them on this upcoming tour. TDWP forever.
Prada is so good at everything they do. And they do a lot; they aren’t trying to make the same songs over again. They’re more experimental than your average metalcore band. They aim for different things in a lot of songs. Just because all the songs don’t sound heavy doesn’t mean they ‘missed’.

became my top 1 favorite. When you released 'Zombie EP' in 2010, it became my top 2 favorite and hoping that one day there would be
a sequel to that masterpiece.
I can listen to singles on COLOR DECAY all day
TDWP have found their sound. Man this is good stuff. Heavy, melodic, dark. Perfect.
What the hell is this? How do they keep getting better? How many times will I listen to this today?
My thought process when I first heard this.
I’ve not listened to The Devil Wears Prada in years, but I am singularly impressed with this single. This is a mature, rich sound that’s heavy, but catchy as all hell. I’m about to register to their entire back catalogue
TDWP showing why they will always be the undisputed metalcore heavyweight GOATs
Been craving these 1 on 1 shots with Mike and Jeremy since Transit. Great to see Jeremy without his guitar and mike showing pure emotion in this performance. They finally found their "new" sound and we as a community are so proud of them. Well done TDWP! Cant wait for September!
Been listening since I was in high school, I'm 31 now and still loving all your tracks. Can't wait to see you guys live in 2 weeks
Somethings never change.
The High quality music.
Mike's teeth.
Being a classic
This band has joined me in many different seasons of life (and coincidentally many different gyms haha)
Okay, not AS heavy as I anticipated, but the synth and verses are super catchy and groovy. Overall, favorite single so far. Awesome video & lyrics too. Patiently waiting for this new album.....
This band has been aging like fine wine ever since Transit Blues.
Love the wholesome comment section. I've been listening to these guys since 08 or 09. The recent singles has been phenomenon. TDWP always has been my favorite band. I seriously can't wait to them live on the zombie tour.
BANGER!
damn... every single so far has been so different and all so amazing. The boys have never missed and looks like they never will \m/
TDWP has aged like fine wine. They have always been one of my favorite bands growing up and who would have known when I’m 30 they came back even better!!! Let’s go boys!!!🤘🏼
Как всегда! Мощно, красиво, мелодично! Радуются уши!
TDWP once again showing they're timeless in keeping they're sound new and providing great quality material
This album is going to be huge. I love u guys and thank you, big hug to the comment section as well 🖤
TDWP ages like a fine wine
Holy balls??? This might be my favorite Prada song of all time and I've been here from Dogs grow beards lol!
One of the most original and unique bands in the history of music
This is a great example of how bands progress and change as they grow . (Time and talent) way to step it up . I stopped listening to certain styles because my music taste changed but this sounds lovely .
We've been inspired by the TDWP guys for years now. They absolutely never miss! If you dig this sound/heavier stuff, I think you would like our new song "The Human Condition"! Go check it out and let me know what you think! Stay rad my friend! 🤘
love you guys so much!!!

Yes!! So much good music lately!
The heavy ass breakdown playing in the background during the last chorus gives me chills
Awesome track and video, so many different style elements perfectly fitting together!
2:43 is so sick - well done lads!
DJENTY
I am a proud Prada boy 🤠
Ummm, I have not listened to you guys since 2011…..and I’ll have you know, sitting here in tears with this song❤️❤️❤️ absolute beauty of a song
There's something I can't share
It's just too hard to explain
I'm barely holding on
It happens everyday
Like a desperate dream
That never goes away
I'm barely holding on
I'm lost in the wake
Oil floats within the water
Soon to be set aflame
Time's moving like lightning
Time shifts like a glacier
It's the opposites that I can't accept
This collision certain death
There's something I can't share
It's just too hard to explain
I'm barely holding on
It happens everyday
Like a desperate dream
That never goes away
I'm barely holding on
I'm lost in the wake
What's to be done about this friction
Plagued habits again
I've been struck by the lightning
I've vanished, gone with a glacier
Cause it's the opposites that I can't accept
This collision certain death
There's something I can't share
It's just too hard to explain
I'm barely holding on
It happens everyday
Like a desperate dream
That never goes away
I'm barely holding on
I'm lost in the wake
Time's moving like lightning
Time shifts like a glacier
Time's moving like lightning
Time shifts like a glacier
Welcome to the great division
The space where numb meets pain
There's something I can't share
It's just too hard to explain
I'm barely holding on
It happens everyday (Where numb meets pain)
Like a desperate dream
That never goes away
I'm barely holding on
I'm lost in the wake
Please never change...y'all are killing it.
Saw you perform in 2008 in San Antonio and I have been a fan ever since.
I love this song along with Watchtower, I play these songs over and over again, they are amazing! I love Tdwp I grew up listening to them, I know all your songs, all albums, you are the second best band for me after bmth. Thank you very much and I look forward to the new Album Color Decay that I ordered! 🤘🏻🖤

The inevitable death we all will face is almost crushing in its weight. I'm glad to know artists I love can help me through that journey in returning to the earth.

10 years later and you're still singing my life and i love it. TDWP lives on ✴👻
You're*
Edit: fixed
@@snakeeyes9246 you're right
That Bridge is just brilliant!
Dude, watching all these great bands start to make music again is freaking amazing.
@@emedeterandomstuff8260 tambien me gusta mucho Silente Planet

The devil wears prada never die. La voz de Mike Hranica nunca deja de sorprender cada vez mejor.
@The Horizon, Sí! Bastante joya ❤️
@@LuisFlores-bs3dt, Totalmente 🤘🏼
The chorus is so breathtaking!!
Definitely has came a long way since their dethrone album. That’s the 1st album I bought and I never listened to them before. Been a fan ever since. So beautiful on how far you have came. ❤️
Masters of their craft, beautifully done
This is phenomenal. This album is going to be some serious next level shit 😱 probably my favorite single so far, but damn they make it impossible to have just one favorite.
The vocal chorus gives me such In Flames Vibes, i love it!
