That and Trinnov optimser.
SpareChange after all that still no mid bass?
EQ isn't a cure all. There's a reason it's only $900. You gotta keep your expectations in check.
SpareChange then this sub won’t be good for mid bass
Please review sb1000 and pb1000
I recently bought the Klipsch SPL-150 but wondered if I should have gone the PB 2000 Pro or PB 3000. But WAF was all about the copper so...
lol klipsch subwoofers are a joke compared to other brands
Yep I had the same klipsch sub and went pb3000 and was night and day then I changed to dual sb3000s with mini dsp and was even more don’t go klipsch subs the make great speakers but subs no
I enjoy watching your videos. I'm hoping you can help answer a question. I have a pair of Klipsch R120SW coming of 2 sub preouts off my Denon AVRX6700H. I want to add this Pb2000. The plan is to do a Y split to the R120's and the second preout to this Pb2000. Would be interesting to see what you think about that setup.
Shane just curious but why so much hate for JTR because Youthman says their subs leave the PB16s behind in the dust in performance??
Check in to the podcast tomorrow if you want hear about some reference subs.
Black Friday 2000, the PB-2000 was $599 with free shipping.
Damn! I'll just wait for black friday then 🤣
I want it, BUT don't need it.
My two 12s klipch subs are just fine for now.
If these drop to $500-600 in black friday,
DEFINATELY buying two. 😍😍😍
I have 2 but only wish I had the software/hardware to fine tune them or the knowledge.
I know your comment was posted along time ago here but I do want to add my two cents all you have to do is use your AV receiver to calibrate your speakers and it will do all the work for you and after it’s done then you listen to what you have and then you can make the Justments with the volume or gain level button
@@alambe7275 thanks for comment but I recently did a sessions with JoeNtell (magic beans) and it’s so explosive.
@@jonathanyoung7050 awesome I’m glad you really enjoyed that I can’t wait to get my 2 svs pb 2000s this Friday it’s going to be Poppin!
@@alambe7275 awesome those are the best subwoofers I’d ever got. Like I said Joe has the magic beans.
So would you recommend this over the SB3000 for movies if I'm into the very low bass ? My SB-3000 didn't ship yet but I can still cancel the order....
Generally, you'll get more impact from a ported subwoofer for movies. But depending on what you are used to, you may be fine with the SB3000. Let us know what you think of it after you play with it for a while.
I just got the SB2000. And I already submitted the return info. I dont like it at all. I'm replacing a Definitive technology supercube 2000. The svs doesn't hold a candle to it. Going to check out the 3000 series maybe an ultra. Just didn't want to take up that much space.
3000 is a lot better.
@@therealshanelee i had the gain all the way up on the 2000. And you could barely hear it. But the driver was moving like crazy. Their support said its because its sealed and I'm used to the passive radiators in my def tech. Which act more like a ported sub.
@@Trrs81 I'm in the same boat. Have a Def Tech supercube 2000, which I like, and recently hooked up a new SB2000 that I was buying for my basement. I'm no audiophile but I thought it was going to be a huge improvement.. but I'm not hearing that to be the case. It's
Interesting to hear from someone else with the supercube 2000. I'm curious what you end up with.
@@kaunas9734 I returned the SVS. I didn't ask for a replacement. I like my supercube. But I don't NEED to replace it. The svs was on a black Friday deal. I wasn't looking at doing a more expensive upgrade. I am a bit of an audiophile. And I would try the PB 2000 or the 3000 if you have the space. They have their 1yr upgrade program. Which may help you. In your situation.
I bought a svs 2000 pro I love it
2 pb 2000 pro or sb 3000 for movies only?
PB 2000
My amplifier is denon 4700h
Room size : 22*12*8
Im more into movies than music
Which sub is the best for my room?
Kef kub 12 or svs 1000 pro vs qaccoustic Qb 12
Shane..thanks for the review. i noticed in your review you had the rels in the room.. by having multiple subs In the room during the review would you be turning them the subs that are not hooked up into passive drivers creating additional output?
I've had one of these since January, debating if to go dual. It's the perfect small sized sealed room, 11ft x 11ft x 8ft height. Do you think dual will be overkill. 😜😜
Not if you can fit it.
Oh boy..... Time to work on my Jedi mind trick on my wife. This is the Sub you're looking for.....
What are you thinking about it? Recommend?
I have 1 2000 pro in the bedroom and in the corner v.s.2-3 foot in towards the center of the room against the wall of course.. after putting it in the corner of the room it was monstrous with bass… room has 9ft ceilings 11ft wide and 12ft 8in deep… 2 would be great just to even out bass..now I have 2 SVS PB16 Ultras in the same bedroom and noticed The difference between the two that the PB 2000 pro strength is Punching 🤜🏼 mid bass where most of all the action bass is anyway..PB16’s have the output where people living across the street can hear it from their driveways not to say the PB2000 won’t let your neighbors know your not watching a movie as well lol.. right or wrong that’s my input
Shane, I just returned my dual REL HT/1205s for dual PB2000pros. Right choice? I’m about 50% music 50% movies.
He would say sb 3000
Tito Rodriguez I would prefer duals and can’t swing the 3000s.
@@omarbargoti3832 well the best you can do now that you got the pros is get a mini dsp and Rew your subs
Tito Rodriguez ywah that’s what I’m thinking. Subwoofer 101 said the 2000pros are super close to the 3000s now
question, why do you always compare to more expensive subs? Why cant you just do a review base on itself and or price points?
You got to have a baseline of what to compare too, higher and lower. Otherwise all the reviews would just be me saying it sounds good because I'd apparently not know what anything else sounds like.
@@therealshanelee I respect that, however its like saying, this Honda Civic's Tourque is nothing compared to the supra, the Civic breaks are great but NOT like the supra....you see where i am going? Instead, and maybe its just me, say this Civic torque is comparable to the others Ive listen to like the Hsu Vtf2-MK5...ect ect. Dont get me wrong, i love your channel! great vids man!
@@PRIZM_LOCK Honestly if I knew you had a Supra and I knew you had a Civic. I would want to know why that Supra cost as much as it did and if the upcharge from the civic to the supra is warranted. Some folks will never know what they'd get from spending more money on that Supra. I'd want to know what it is I'm missing or not missing.
Why does everyone compare SVS with JTR . It’s not apples to apples if people are going to compare them . Then compare same price point same amount of drivers same wattage and then throw in DSP controls . So say it out loud and see if it makes sense , why is svs single 16 in driver not as good as a jtr rs2 with two 18 in drivers in it . 🤔🤔🤔🤔 .
I love it for movies. I bought the ported and think I should have gone with the sealed as music has the jury still out for me.
That's the balance. Ported subs give you greater impact for movies. Sealed subs are tighter for music. I was never satisfied with music until I just went with a separate 2 channel system. Using an SB-12NSD to add bottom. My next upgrade will be the SB3000, although probably overkill.
@@ld4974 I have the plugs in but also left my small m&k sealed sub connected for a dual setup. Thanks for the reply.
Never been a fan of ported subs. In general, sealed subs sound cleaner and less smeared. They're ok as LFE but not for music.
Just plug both ports on the PB 2000 Pro and you've got a sealed subwoofer.
Not only can you plug both ports up you don’t have to because port it subs sound awesome with music and they are the best for gaming and movie watching
These pb2000 pros are awesome, run them with a mini dsp and they are even more better. Iv had the pb12 , pb3000s , sb3000s and now pb2000 pros and I like the pb2000 pro for the price and size it fits anywhere in my room and running them with a mini dsp they get low
How is the mid base buddy because they say it has lows but not good mid base...
@@kuriakos36 out of the box is has too much lows to me and they are right about the mids but with a mini dsp and room correction helps 100% I ended up selling the 1 pb2000 pro to get 2 pb1000 pros and they have alot more mid out of the box and the lows his just as hard but I’m running dual to even bass response throughout the room. In my personal preference for dual subs 1000 pros over 1 single pb2000 but if your going to go one sub pb3000 and u , don’t get the 2000s unless your going dual one of them will not out perform dual 1000 pros I have tested it in 3 different rooms
@@mdoh8209 im gonna take 2 pb2000 pros my room is 17 square metres 5m length * 3.30m width * 2.90m height and i hope to make crazy job i want it for movies only but i want to be clear in every way all frequencys where you have cut it in 80hz??? Or 120hz?
@@kuriakos36 have my current system cut at 100hz from speakers to subs and running bowers 600 s2 towers with matching centre it all depends on your speakers and what they can handle cross the speakers over a little higher from what that recommended gives u a better slop. Try testing a few settings out and listen to the same track/movie and see what sounds best, and also a mini dsp too
Have you already heard something from arendal, hope they send you their new 1723 2V
I'm waiting.
Great video sc Thinking of selling off my sb3000s and getting the pb2000 pros I just like the low frequency bass with ported subs the sb3000s are great after I got a mini dsp but still just miss the pb sound
Really? I'm thinking of passing on the PB2000 pros for a SB3000s. He reviewed the SB3000 and mentioned that they sound awesome in movies with fast tactile and chest pounding bass...was that not the case? Also how much you gonna ask for the SB3000s?
@@juandoe7802 I always prefer ported subs. They just have more output. I'm planning on upgrading to pb3000 instead
I agree with you the 2000 is what I’m getting too and I’m getting two of them
@@juandoe7802 I know your comment it’s an old comment but I do agree with the other guy that the 2000s go much lower I like that part
Interesting, the PB 3000 is now $1,399! ??
Hey...you keep on saying it's not quite as of pb 16 ultra... obviously it won't be as of pb 16, as they are pricier....if one has budget they will get higher end...this is a budgeted sub, so you may give review from this perspective. You may compare with other 12 inch models which will actually make sense for viewers like us. Just a constructive suggestion.
Omg seriously, why even in the slightest compare them to the PB16, 3x times the price!! Again SB3000... apples to oranges. For a 1k subwoofer there is nothing on the market to match it. You already said yourself they pressurised your room. 10/10 svs.
pb2000 dual basically equals the sb3000 50-80, so iam surprised the pb2000s didnt hit with the same impact in the upper region 🤣🤣
And you still have to have other speakers
@SpareChange Rythmik when please?
They have said they weren't interested in video reviews.
This or Monolith ?
For loud music monolith for the explosive movie experience the pb 2000 pro. I have a single pb 2000 pro it’s really good for music hip hop rap you should go duals thoe
These have seen a 23% price increase since this video was made? Ouch.
after waiting 1 month my pb-3000 is coming tomorrow 😍
Congrats! Enjoy

I always wanted a subwoofer that has a frequency response so low that the human ear can't hear that low.
But you can feel it, which is awesome.
nice video. Thank you
Why the heck i think ive heard your voice somewhere i just cant remember where it is. Lol
He sounds a lot like Jerry Rig Everything to me lol
One note wonders
what are you talking about I'm on SVS website right now you said the 2000 pros are $999 and the 3000 are $100 more they're almost $1,400 I'm on their website right now looking for that price you're talking about

Pb 2000 pro vs klispch SPL150??
Nice review but stop comparing it to the PB16.. its not a fair comparison
why do you drop that box its bad in the economy
Why is there an alien narrating this?
Hey can u review the monoprice thx sub plz
Easier to get Krix down the road from me
Woofer isn't even moving
When you have two it doesn't have to work that hard.
LOL ..Takes 2 subs to fill a tiny room and still lacks punch! Way Overpriced!
