A court case requires motive and intent. The McMichaels have experience in law enforcement. They caught the exact correct person. They have no criminal records.
And the GBI video describes mean words the McMichaels never said. It was described in court as an "enhanced video". By the judge walmsley himself.

The Prosecution absolutely represents the state. It was the People vs. those murderers. The Prosecution was successful in proving their case "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" which is why the charges will stick even on appeal. What is questionable about 3 guys in trucks hunting an unarmed man down, cornering him and murdering him in cold blood. They were so callous as to film their egregious barbaric and savage act as if it was for a trophy for bragging rights. Sad day for humanity. Also if you are complicit in the commission of a felony regardless of how much or how less a part you play you everyone gets the same charge. Let me give an example: If someone picks up a hitchhiker enroute to robbing a convenient store. The trigger man that goes in and kills someone, the driver and the hitchhiker sitting in the car all get the same charge of felony murder. RIP Mr. Ahmaud Arbery

Ya know, I have actually said that in an un-ironic manner. I'm over 40, I have no idea what is considered racist anymore, so if I touch on something that I think could(with thinking in a very off kilter manner) be seen as racist I tend to preface it with that. I mean, I have been told I am sexist for opening a door for a woman, racist for saying that 'Shaft" was part of a type of movie popular in the 70s that were called "Blaxploitation movies" and that the term "Negro league" is a racial slur... So, yeah, a little non-sequitur, but it sorta triggered a "oh, right, I remember something about that" kinda reaction.
I do admit that it usually is a case where someone is about to say something spectacularly racist after they say that, it's a racist version of when someone from the South says "Bless their heart, but.." that you know they are about to say something horrible about someone.

@@johnbrowne3950 You were redirecting from the original post and attempting to shame the reporter for the actions of his older brother. He is not and cannot be responsible for the actions of a grown man.
Now for your need to make a redirecting comment on the original post. It was an unnecessary attempt to invalidate what was said by the reporter and poster. This trial was important due the location and circumstances regarding the heinous murder of a young man. The reporter called out a racist good ole boy lawyer for his racial commentary for the world to see. The original poster supported the reporters chastising the lawyer for mis-characterizng what this case was about and who the prosecutors are supposed to represent. You pulled the age old racist tactic...but what about... I am expecting you to mention Chicago or OJ Simpson next if you are following the pithy unnecessary comment play book.
Chis Cuomo is his own man. Andrew Cuomo is his own man. They are not conjoined twins sharing one body and one brain. Stick to the topic is really my point. Ahmaud Arbery's vicious murderers have been convicted. Hopefully they will be sentenced to life in the harshest prison with no protection from guards or white supremacy groups.
