Гениальная самоделка - разобрать высоковольтный трансформатор и сделать из него высоковольтный трансформатор. У меня когда то сварщик работал, так он тоже на ровном месте создавал проблему чтобы потом ее героически решить (забив хрен).
Не знаю насчёт самоделки, а идея для видео оказалась, действительно, гениальной - 1,8 миллионов просмотров. Вся жизнь человеческая - преобразование материи вокруг себя, так что на видео - лучшая черта человечества.

Just so you know, it's easier to hand wind cores by starting with the middle of the wire. That way you only have to deal with half the wire length for the multiple passes.
What kind of drill is that without a chuck?
I have a hand powered winder, it has 2 speeds and also a counter, it also has an attachment for winding motor stators too

Please, what is the alternative to the variable resistance 250k and G40n50, please replace it with G40N60
Little advice: make your secondary in layers, for example 100turns then add isolation then another 100turns and so on. At hight voltage the isolation of the wire may fail and start arcing or the corona discharge will melt the wiring and you will have a bunch of ruined coil. Im saying it from experience. Also the random winding with power drill is not the best idea, yes is fast but arcs are more likely if your winding is chaotic.

Those ferrite cores are manufactured by companies other than TDK too; they are of a type that would have been used in a CRT TV or monitor flyback transformer.
Better to have a small “air gap” between the cores; the “air gap” is usually set by using pieces of Mylar or Nomex of the desired thickness.

REQUEST: please, I'd love to see a design for a power supply for a big 50 watt laser diode, it needs an adjustable current between about 20 amps to a max of 60 amps at about 2.5v DC. it will lase at 20 amps. Ive been able to get it to lase using 2 D size NiCad batteries relying on ESR of the batteries & nichrome wire for short test's. a

I’m not Russian, and I have commented that the method used to wind that high voltage winding is not the way to do things. And below a different comment from a Russian user, I explained the proper way, by layering with insulation - a single layer of turns of magnet wire followed by a layer of insulation before winding the next layer of wire and continuing to alternate a layer of insulation followed by a layer of wire.

Yes, one layer of magnet wire would then get covered with insulation before the next layer of magnet wire is wound. The insulation on magnet wire is a thin enamel that can develop pinholes rather often, and when two pinholes are close to each other with a high enough voltage differential arcing internal to the transformer winding can occur.
And the wire lead attachment should have a sturdy barrier (Nomex is what would be used in a transformer manufacturing facility, but cardboard could work in these DIY projects) between the winding and the soldered ends.

в тдкс уже все обмотки есть достаточно один транзистор подключить в генераторном режиме. только питать прейдется 110вольт постоянкой.
А если подключить вместо 12v, 24v работать будет?

That 5:15 is an iGBT component in which there is a combination of MOSFET and TRANSISTOR combined into an iGBT component. the function of the iGBT is for switching large currents and large voltages for SMPS or welding machines .. And you said the serial code wrong You mentioned the code (G40N50) but after I saw the serial code is (G40N60) please you have to be careful in that

TIP: Don't use Nail polish OR any other Acetone/Petroleum Distillate based enamel when your coating a winding. This thins or even strips enamel off of magnet wire. use a electrically insulated epoxy.

I am looking for a similar output, but with lower V and higher current output. In particular, about 1000v, at least an Amp or two, at ~20 to 50kHz. I really liked your inverse digital input instead of, say, a ZVS sine output.
However, I think I would need somewhat larger wire/core & less turns for the secondary...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
