Thanks The way you explain this is fantastic, I appreciate the thorough explanation of the ligaments, cervical joints and how they are impacting the vagus nerve. This I want to watch over ten to twelve times, and I’m certainly passing it on to others. The snapping popping Jaw, the headaches, the snoring, the constant neck/ scapula pain, the dentist thinking that your not opening up completely, and it’s just the best you can do, lost a perfectly good tooth, simply to weight loss, sleep apnea is probably a TMJ thing too now You mentioned how we snore because of it, all of this is just makes so much more sense when we understand why we experience the pain we do. Thanks for the explanation of c1 space between skull. I’m a classical example if you ever want my X-rays for the use to use for slides, I’d be more than happy to share them. They show this clearly and also the straight neck or somewhat reversed s bend. Oh and overcrowded jaw, scoliosis…
I can't thank you enough for this! All of my symptoms make sense now... No one ever connected the dots like this! I will be ensuring that my doctors watch this as I feel more education on the interaction of the jaw and spine is required. I have had TMJ dysfunction for over 20 years and neck muscle spasms, head pain, pain into the back of my right eye...etc. And they forgot about my TMJs. Again I cannot thank you enough... I am just so grateful!
I can't thank you enough for this information ! A lot of my current issues now make much more sense now I understand how things are interconnected . Thank you once again :-)
I have hEDS. At age 75, it feels like my jaws are disintegrating with the left side seemingly most unstable, and my teeth are crumbling. This presentation gave me the most credible and helpful information I’ve ever heard this topic. Thank you
Very possible that you have bone deterioration. Ironically it is also my left side that’s my worst. I have bone on bone on the left side of my jaw. I have facial pain, bad photophobia that triggers migraines easily with horrible eye pain. Chronic tight neck muscles especially the muscles on the side of my neck with my left the worst. I do suffer from every type of headache and many triggers. What ever you do NEVER GET DENTAL IMPLANTS! WE ARE NOT CANDIDATES. I got one in 2003 while pregnant and didn’t have my diagnoses or any answers for my health issues yet. The bone surrounding my implant is disintegrating which is also on my left lower jaw. Recently the news interviewed a lady that got many implants and began to suffer from horrible health issues. So most of the dental implants have recalls but not to the point they are taken of the market.
Since I was a kid my jaw would pop in and out, thought it was cool, my joints also hyper extend, I'm now 32, 3 years of service, and still no diagnosis or eny treatment. Just, "make the muscles stronger"
someone asked this in the presentation at the end and the doctor said that there could be a half dozen causes for Tinnitus but it sometimes is caused by TMJ. hope that helps.
Thanks

Has anyone gotten a trigeminal nerve block to help the facial pain? I’ve also read that it deals with photophobia.
