Plus all the ladies who work there are crazy beautiful, charming, and eternally lovable! I love it there! Best bar on our planet, bar none (sorry about the pun, that was unintentional)
The food is great here. Went there on weekends after rehearsals in the mid 90’s for the soup and other small dishes they served back then. I seriously need to revisit again soon.
I mean... they're just some old guys who review cheap food (even though The Rainbow is HARDLY CHEAP!!! lol). they get a pass.... But yeah.... I love The Rainbow... and the spirit of Lemmy lives in that place.... absolutely. I always drink a shot of Jack in honor of Lem when I'm in town and visit this place.
You know what? You might not think it.... but the pizza is actually really good!!! lol. no joke!! now, if you're there after midnight and especially after a show... expect the wait times for your food to be a bit long, and that's if you're able to even get inside. though again... if you're inside and order a large pepperoni? it's actually really good pizza! the burgers are great too... and as for their famous "scarlett chicken soup?" I'm mexican.... so I like to load it up with lime and salsa....with some tostada chips. it really does taste delicious, and as advertised...don't miss out. they have some other stuff on their menu, like filet mignon and lobster tail.... but c'mon..... nobody goes to "the bow" for steak and lobster. At least I don't... I've been there at least 100 times in my lifetime and I've never seen anyone order it. Just order a pizza or a burger, get some chips and salsa (or even their Italian sausages), get an ice cold beer with a shot of tequila or jack daniels, send a prayer to Lemmy (god rest his soul) and enjoy the night!!! this is where the the greatest legends in rock, metal and punk came to cool off, chow down and.... well, other stuff. lol. LOVE THE RAINBOW!!!
