I have a lot of family and friends who put all their Christmas decor up, including their trees, first day of November. They like all their Christmas stuff up for Thanksgiving Day. I feel like everyone should have whatever decor they love in their home. I don't think anything is wrong or weird with whatever a person does for their own home. We are all different. Girl.... I took my fall stuff down over 2 weeks ago. So please don't feel bad. I have already started decorating for Christmas. It takes me 3 weeks to get it all done. I’m so excited for Christmas this year. It’ll be my 6 month old grandson’s first Christmas. Plus my youngest son will be home from college - it’s his first year of college and living so far away from us has been tough. My oldest son has a new job so he won’t have to work during Christmas, which is the first time in several years. It’s going to be such a blessed Christmas with my kids and family together ❤

I love candy/food theme for Christmas! When I was a girl scout, many many years ago and went to camp, on our last day the counselors had us to take a hike into the forest and when you reached the clearing, there was a candy land. Boxes of cereal and candy treats hanging from the limbs of the trees. There were chocolate bars, cakes and anything and everything you can imagine hanging from limbs. We went through and picked the things we wanted off the trees and I have never forgotten it. I have cupcake and cookie ornaments on my tree every year and it always reminds me of that day when I was just 12 years old. Thanks for the shopping trip! Me and family members always get together on Black Friday and make a day of it.

Ooooh I did a craft with the kids. You mix applesauce and cinnamon together and make a dough, roll it out then cut them out using a gingerbread cookie cutter. I’m sure the directions are on the internet. I’m excited to see everything. Nanny looks beautiful as always. 💕

I'm hoping to get my Christmas village put up this week since I want plenty of time to enjoy it before Christmas. The day after Thanksgiving I put up my Christmas tree & my collection of Santa Clauses. When I worked, I use to always wait until the day after Thanksgiving to deck my house for Christmas. I'd do the whole house in that one long weekend, inside and out. Now that I am retired, I like starting in the first days of November, and taking my time. I'm enjoying it more. I also get great inspiration from you wonderful ladies on You Tube. 😉👍
Your unbridled happiness over your decorations brings me such joy, especially since we can't or aren't going to have a Christmas here. We found our Dream property it's off grid really cheap mind you, but it's going to take everything we have/make to survive our first winter in a RV and wall tent in a Michigan winter to come. Being lifelong renters this was a dream for us...we sold everything of value to do this.. My grandsons 8 to 13 said its OK with just 1 toy and a stocking..we will try to do a outside tree with decorations for the birds..not enough room inside fore a tree..

When doing your christmas card exchange this year, ask your besties to throw in an extra stamp with the card they send you, to help with the cost. I have seen other channels ask for that and it seems quite reasonable to me.
You guys are SO much fun. I leave my Fall decorations up until Thanksgiving night then put up my tree! It became a family tradition when my kids still lived at home. Now they do the same tradition with their families
I've put up all my Xmas decorations before Thanksgiving ever since I was a kid and I'm a fossil lol now my kids do it in their homes. I would do it the weekend before Thanksgiving, I love it, it brings me joy and feels like the holiday season. And they come down the weekend after the new year. Have an amazing Sunday and coming week

Years ago my hubby cut (saw) out two gingerbreads out of thin plywood( a girl & a boy) I stained them and using red & green material I dressed them up. The boy had a vast on & the girl a little apron. I used pom poms for the eyes & nose , and used braided yarn for their smiles. So cute,they were about 2 feet tall. I also had my gingerbread craze years ago and still love to Decocate with all my gingerbread decorations!🥰

I would do it the weekend before Thanksgiving, I love it, it brings me joy and feels like the holiday season. And they come down the weekend after the new year. Have an amazing Sunday and coming week

Years ago my hubby cut (saw) out two gingerbreads out of thin plywood( a girl & a boy) I stained them and using red & green material I dressed them up. The boy had a vast on & the girl a little apron. I used pom poms for the eyes & nose , and used braided yarn for their smiles. So cute,they were about 2 feet tall. I also had my gingerbread craze years ago and still love to Decocate with all my gingerbread decorations!🥰

I'm with Shane ...I love my Christmas village. I have an ice skating rink my children loved when they were little and now as adults it's just not Christmas without the village displayed. One of my houses has people dancing the waltz in it😊
