In one of the later episodes when weiyoung confirmed that chang ru has betrayed her and confronted her directly, Weiyoung made it clear to chang ru that she has no interest in touba yu. But that's what makes chang ru even more mad. Chang ru puts way more effort and is willing to do anything to win touba yu's heart but can't even get it while weiyoung who keeps rejecting and shows no interest in touba you is able to catch his interest and love from him. Chang ru was angry at the fact that Weiyoung in a way stole touba yu from her which causes her to become more and more filled with jealousy and hatred towards weiyoung as time passes.
