He didnt want to so he can use his BoL to revive gozo and go off that way. An understandable play, its unfortunate that he lost the 50/50, his opponent once again had the single one off that counters thoughtruler and that he then even had Vanities fiend. That is insanely unlucky
@@Tools-yt4sk I get that but he already saw so many chainable traps like raigeki break, they probably play bottomless too. If you don’t banish the monster, and they have a monarch or fiend, you just lose so much tempo. I think he was being too aggressive. He wasn’t going to win that turn there regardless, but you can see he damn sure lost it
@@Tools-yt4sk it was an unfortunate 50-50 but that’s why he shouldn’t have tried for the 50-50 anyways. Make the safe play, remove the monster and if they have a trap to deal with caius, you get a 2 for 1. Next turn, grave is set up and you go from there. IMO there was just a lot of misuse of resources in both games from the welledad player but it’s obviously easy for me to say that now when I can see both players hands haha.
game 1 was a simple misplay where he should've just crashed into the Gorz with Thought Ruler the same turn it hit the field, but it's hard to have that insight when you're in the middle of the game
@Jared Bowers He could've just bounced Gorz with Brio in main 2 and won the game off that, assuming he doesn't know he opponent has 2 backrow cards. In hindsight crashing into Gorz was 100% the correct play that first game.
Mirror force MVP
Im not crazy right. The guy on the left didnt draw for turn game 1
why did he keep going into thought ruler lol literally g1 and g2 if he went stardust he wouldn’t have lost to mirror force twice lol
Because most Frog deck's trap lineup consists of multiple Raigeki Breaks/Wing Blasts.
@@WhoNeedsMeta u right i forgot about the last effect lol
What app was used for LP?
Cyrus
Oooo that playmat at the right! What characters are those? They look like amazoness but also harpies
It's a Amanda lapalme playmat the characters are supposed to like the signer dragons as girls i think
Thanks!
ma perchè in main fase 2 non hai rimandato in mano Gorz con effetto Brionac???
They should have also made Goyo instead of Revived King to just steal the Gorz in case the opponent had it. Then brio bounce the token maybe.
And that’s why you remove the monster with Caius effect lol
