I really liked how wholesome this episode was, especially near the ending. It's always funny when Choopo does a silly ha-ha, but the bits at the end just really warmed my heart. Thanks, Choopo. Merry Christmas!
Honorable mention to the DC Santa. The guy effortlessly evades all of Darkseid’s defenses (the DC Thanos counterpart) every year just to hand deliver him a lump of coal, he’s amazing!
I like the story about Santa beating up the devil and making him work for him. I also like the story where he does necromancy to bring back 3 boys who got turned into soup, and forces their murderer to work for him.
@@pedrovallefin8406 The first story is the origin story of the Krampus, and the second is the story of Father Whipper. Christmas traditions can be crazy!
I’m so glad he mentioned Klaus. An instant favorite from my first watch. Looking forward to next year’s video (assuming he’s still alive) maybe we’ll get the santa from violet night or the dc santa who gives darksied a piece of coal every year
I feel like Rise of the Guardians Santa deserves more credit. His character is genuinely a good guy who used to be a bandit. He has swords and looks like that because of his past but his core is childlike wonder and he’s the one who pushes Jack in the right direction of trying to find his own. His entire thing is protecting children and despite him being immortal, Jack is still that. He’s the one who leads the charge when Pitch attacks and actively has an operation to make toys just to give children joy. I will say I did read the first book that the movie was based on and if you put that into perspective with his character? He’s one of the best Santas because he literally has a heart of gold to the point he avoided being turned to stone from greed only to sacrifice his life fighting for a town just to be brought back and continue to become a better person. His power is literally to instill wonder in children and people around the world. My mans deserves a 9/10 at LEAST
The Disney + Santa Clause series shows that the Santa falling off the roof and dying was planned because Tim Allen was targeted to be groomed to be the next Santa. Yes, I watched it last year.
arthur christmas and rise of the guardians are two of my favourite christmas movies ever. arthur christmas, purely because grand-santa is actually goated asf, and because hugh laurie as STEEEEVE is so funny. rise of the guardians is my other favourite christmas movie because i read the books around the time the move was in theatres, and reading the books explains why he is the way he is. i really liked santa in the film. i can’t explain how he becomes a guardian, because it’s a massive spoiler from the books and i know there are people who haven’t read them yet. i also really, really liked klaus. i showed it to my younger cousin right after it was released on netflix, and she fell in love. it isn’t my favourite, but i really recommend it for children and adults who love the nostalgia that children’s movies bring for the holidays. also, i’m kinda bummed no one talked about péinelas and ferb’s santa. remember, in the christmas specials, santa literally doesn’t do anything for danville because of doof. phineas, ferb, candace, isabella, baljeet, and buford team up with two of sana’s christmas elves to deliver presents to the entire tri-state area all because he was late. then, we find him in the rest stop after a good beard steaming. like, that santa is either considered the best or the worst santa in terms of your ratings, lmao. but yeah, i definitely agree with your ratings, but i’m a little biased on the rise of the guardians rating, purely because i read the books and watched the movie, too, but i like it. i always watch it every christmas, because it’s just so nice. same with arthur christmas because it’s so damn good. and it’s so creative in terms of how santa does what he does.
I would love for Choopo to shoot out an hour long Metal Gear lore video all over my face! Especially if it's just part 1 of a multi-video series. And man, you're gonna fill me with so much excitement and joy when I watch the other parts! I can't wait to guzzle down and swallow all the lore. That's all I want for Christmas ;)
I just discovered you today through the Poptropica video, you're very funny and I really love your sona style! This video made me laugh a lot, but then the end got SO touching! I want you to do this next year! If you need Santa ideas: the OG Santa is Coming To Town, Narnia Santa as the oddball, and then Violent Night for the burnt out Santa
my mom doesn't care for animated movies, but i convinced her to see Klaus with me and boy she loved it and was guessing what was next, proves a good story can be from any medium of entertainment!!!
I know you usually do more visual media, but I wonder where you'd rank the Dresden Files version of Santa. Part of the Winter Court of the Fae,he has several different roles, including St. Nick himself (he prefers to go by Kringle). He's affected a lot by the beliefs of the people, being a fae, so he's pretty jolly in the wintertime. He goes on hunting trips with some of the other Winter Court, wields a broadsword and armor, and also is known as *Odin the All-Father*. I am not kidding.
11:15 this activated the memories of the movie in my brain like a sleeper agent code. I thought I dreamed about a movie plot revolving around curling!!!!
I see you also are aware of the ancient challenge of the Triple Shadow Abyss I call MGS lore. So many have spent a lifetime trying to make a comprehensive timeline and missed out on so much. Any thoughts on Devil’s Undertaker, Kingdom Hearts?
its nice to see Choopo get to see author Christmas with young Santa, a elf in a bear trap who is dying of blood lose, and a baboon monkey such a nice time :)
Only judges Krampus through one movie and not through folklore. [Non European Spotted] Then again we wouldn't dear little Choopo going down another rabbit hole.
Make this a series but also pick 1 or 2 movies I have heard of. The only one I knew was krompus from being in German class and the one from the Jack Frost movie.
oh this episode was so lovely. I was genuinely smiling bc of how good this ending made me feel. no ,,haha'' twist at then end. just pure wholesomeness. Thank you for this great christmas video :D

Its been said before, but the Santa from Ernest Saves Christmas is just the most wholesome old man
You have said all the right things.
papa louie santa is a 10/10. he uses warp coins for good and comes to restaurants to spread the Christmas jolly joy and have lunch or whatever
I love your pfp
"2/19 how do you just die?" is my favorite line of the day
Klaus is so good! If it had hit theaters instead of direct to stream, I think it would be a modern day pop culture Christmas classic!
Don't hate Christmas, Choopo, hate the people around you and actively work against them.
CHOOPO IS THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING🧡

Awesomazing!

Thank you Choopo, it's kind of hard to find a youtuber that's genuinely wholesome with videos

No that’s the carbon monoxide, you forgot to replace the detectors batteries.
