    Those lights will be nice, you did a professional job running the wires. Nothing tastes as good as fresh eggs, yum. Y'all take care!

    What LED light bulbs did you buy? Did they fit correctly?

    When I was a kid in 8th grade we had to take a speech class where we had to give a speech in front of the class. I picked a demonstration speech and chose to show the class how to splice the cord on a lamp. When I plugged it in it blew the bulb because the wires were touching somehow. It has been downhill since then when it comes to wiring.

    Grew up eating free range chicken eggs. No comparison in flavor to those pale deprived eggs from laying houses. Makes me wish we still had chickens here. Let them out everyday before we went to work. Closed up their home, every night after they went to roost. Yes, we had predator problems and such. Yet, those REAL eggs were worth it. !!!
    Thanks for sharing some wire pulling time with us. God Bless.

    Any chance you put a brake light on your gator , I’m trying to figure out how to wire one in .

    • @bctruck
      @bctruck  2 роки тому +1

      No, but it seems like it could be done without much drilling. Check the brake pedal to see if it might have a switch on it.

    The LED's are about 3.5 watts each so one of those lights sets is 21 watts @ 12 VDC...about 1.75 amps for each light set...3.5 amps for both.

    • @bctruck
      @bctruck  4 роки тому +1

      man! I could have added 2 more and still been under ten amps!

    Hmmmm, fresh eggs and spam... I just ordered a Gator. Did you order LED Bulbs or the LED Headlights from John Deere? I know I'm a little late watching this but next time consider a fused relay to add lights. I know LED current draw is less than Halogen but I think it's a safer install.Thanks!!

    Next time you do an omelette, can you show what the yoke looks like? I’ve never had eggs from anywhere else but the grocery store....
    Always enjoy your omelette videos, even though I can’t stand omelettes lol!
    Great job on the install! I thought you were going to be putting the switch in one of the blanks by the headlights.
    You did an amazing job with the placement of the switch. Can’t tell that it wasn’t installed on the assembly line!
    Great video!!!
    Is there anything else that you can do to your gator for nighttime or if needed longer trips away from home?
    Could you possibly put a spotlight in? That’s what I thought about when you were showing the blank switches, possibly enough room for both.
    I’m pretty sure that you showed us the lights on at night but a spotlight will really brighten anything out there lol, especially with the new headlights!

      I put the switch over there to be close to the wire I was using from the cigarette lighter. I’ll try and remember to do a store bought egg yolk next to a happy chicken yolk.

    Speaking of free range chickens, I buy my eggs from a lady whose chics are out in her yard and greet/attack you when getting out of the car . But their egg yokes are nothing short of color and taste . A small price to pay worth it .
