It's a shame that the seamless music and the natural cutscene/gameplay transitions can't be achieved through natural means. This video was a work of art, and I was legitimately on the edge of my seat watching it. I hope we can someday achieve this sort of seamless presentation through natural play. When that day comes, it will be a wonderful day indeed. So very excited for this game. And extra props to the composer of the music--one of the most underrated things about the last game that I am so very glad to see will be making a return.
Nick Ha The music is already seamless in the first game, for example initiating engagement and situation gone bad. The cut-scenes will be present in scripted missions, which there will be a few for sure to progress the game.
Misfiring Chong There are certain ways the music is presented here that are impossible to do in live gameplay, because it requires the game be able to predict the timing of the player's actions down to the exact second. Case-in-point: between 3:30 and 4:00, the music is undergoing a 'rising action', getting slowly more intense as the player moves troops into position, and especially so as the player prepares to fire. And then, at 4:10, after all that build up, it goes dramatically silent _right_ as she stands up to fire (_on the beat_, mind you). That kind of timing is literally impossible through natural play. What if the player cancels the order, or if their timing to give the order is off by a few seconds? What is the music supposed to do? It can't resume, it's already completed its rising action (on the beat, no less). You cannot script, compose, or program a music track to react that perfectly, or to change and maintain that perfection if even a single _second_ in the player's actions is different. No, that sort of thing can only be "faked" in post-production, just like it was here. They likely played and recorded the game with the music off, then added the music in afterwards, setting it up to match perfectly with in-game events.
Nick Ha I especially love what they did with the sound when they fire that first shot. The build up, the silence, the gunfire, then the action music kicks in. As you said, it's perfect.
Nick Ha i hope they go back to XCOM's origins and expand on the proper expeirence, i want to fight on forever by littleraly throwing everything i got at them with no limits on soliders or base, eventualy the base its self wont even matter because you have every thing researched bought everything that makes the difference and upgradeed evrey varient and combo of the MEC solider i want to use everything just the way i want to like in the "Long War" mod on PC. other than that it seems like they made the UI the way it should have been IE 10x better than it was, and as for a survival mode, i cant wait for the day that happens.
CaptmagiKono sorry i sat around stopping a mass genocide, protected every country, shooting down every battle ship they sent; blew up every Mechtoid and Sectopod aboard and kidnapped their leaders with a squad of Mechanically Superior/enhanced soldiers with rockets for hands and your telling me earth doesn't have the time or money to build me a hanger for one of those things... shesh no wonder we lost, i did all the work for them gave them the next generation of weapons, science and technology and then when we thought it was all over the went and pulled a Possum outta their ass and said cool yo but your leaders are kinda dumb and were just gonna tell you what to do now.
+Guardian Znex Your comment may have been valid if you had the mental capacity to spell your words correctly and you differentiate between their and there correctly...
Its very interessting how much changed in the development Things i noticed: 1. Music Tracks we're different, for example the Globe soundtrack is the covered soundtrack 2. Shen's 3d model seams to be an civilist instead of the real shen 3. The overwatch Sound is the one from enemy unkown 4. The shootings and explosions are much more cinematic and have more impact (i personally Like that more but OK) 5. the Symbols from the fields we're you're getting Seen are bigger 6. the Design of the lines where you Walk are different and have more Bloom 7. The civils are a bit Low poly Sometimes 8.the Punch from the Berserker does way more knockback and has a different Animation (i think thats also cooler) 9. When you're Picking Up Bodys you're Picking them Up where the Body actually is and Not in the field where He died (I prefer that too) 10. The snake makes the camera wet 11. The way Hacking works is a bit different and has a different Design 12. The evac Symbol is Always showing even If you're Not in the evac place 13. The "revealed" particels are orange instead of red 14. The Tower thingy started being active way later than normally 15. The Symbol when a soldier is getting targeted is orange and has a different Design If you find more Tell me ^^ (Except that the Mission is scripted, i let These differences Out)
Please don't tell me everyone only speaks English. I really enjoyed hearing my troopers in EW speak in their native tongues. PS: EW's 5 column HP display is better.
Actually there were fewer languages than what would be "necessary" in the previous XCOM. For example, the Brazilians (I'm Brazilian) wouldn't speak Portuguese, which is our native language. But I understand that in a multi-national team, the soldiers would have to choose a single language to communicate. I think English with regional accents would be more realistic, but I'd love to have the option to pack a whole team speaking my language all the time.
Cripes. the really creepy thing is the aliens no longer need their main army to do the grunt work. Most enemies are genetically manipulated humans with genetics from animals infused into them. Hence the CQC Snake. And yes, that was a reference.
I cannot wait for this title and yet I know I must. Waiting blows! One thing I would ask is please change the overwatch sound wav. I played far, far too many hours of vanilla, EW and Long War and after that time familiar sounds become quite grating on the brain. The fact the overwatch sound in this video was pretty much the same as the original game is, for me at least, a negative. Please don't keep any of the same wav sounds from the original. Change them just slightly if needed but please change them. Fantastic preview that just makes me want to go into hibernation for several months. Thanks for posting :D
I am excited for this game but are the graphics going to change? I understand the blocky construction and bright signs from an alien occupation but the graphics look so cartoony. I hate that shimmer around the edges of the screen, which I assume is to look like you're watching through a camera. The camera is too zoomed in for me so hopefully you can also bring it out. I do like the firing display with all the modifiers being visible instead of a separate menu. The ability to call for evac is also nice. It always bothered me that it couldn't move, especially on Target Escort missions! I love that the enemies don't immediately spot you just because they are on screen, but you should have to actually sneak up on them. At 3:53, the soldiers are running right in front of the Advent. (It would have been neat if they were Exalt).
Millsy_10 They said in an interview that it won't actually instakill soldiers. They just made it instakill in this scene to make the scene look more cinematic.
I don't understand why out of every game people decide to bitch about XCOM E3 gameplay being scripted watch almost any gameplay debut and its scripted they want to show people the fun parts.
By the way, what are the bad guys shooting? Skittles? After your trooper hacks the gun turret at 8:25 I was hoping he'd yell, "Taste the rainbow, motherfuckers!"
A little too many triggered cutscenes on the map to be believable for randomly generated maps in the future, but i'll happily take a little less than that in regular missions. The only question i have is (AND *Warning, fat spoilers for the original Xcom Enemy Unknown incoming*) how the heck did we ever lose earth after WINNING against that rogue fraction of aliens we defeated in Enemy Unknown. I mean, their ship blew the fck up, together with our most psychic guy. How are they back? Did the main alien force which the others were expelled from for experimenting on other species show up and decide to take earth themselves? It doesn't make a lot of sense lore-wise, does it? Are you saying the ending where XCOM is shut down and/or defeated in the original game is the true ending which happened and led to this game?
+Jukantos they made It clear that the aliens basically deployed their elites to destroy xcom before they could even reach the carapace or laser technology.
the canon ending (and first ending in most people's cases) was xcom losing. it goes a step further in xcom 2 saying that xcom was destroyed by the aliens before ever reaching laser tech.
+Jukantos I don't think that was supposed to be a random map. It seemed like a tutorial/introduction level, which is why it would map sense to have it be premade.
Initial reactions... So soldiers are squatting behind cover to avoid been seen, but advent forces are completely oblivious to the xcom drone hovering in plain sight... Followed by... Dammit Firaxis, stop using scripted events to murder my troops, especially in the tutorial. It's not a strategy game if the merits of my choices are overridden.
+Astron Bryant Damn!, Red shirt John died in that moment, I was helpless to stop it, Chained and unable to prevent, his demise will be noted on my revenge wall, his last words before blood was drawn. "what... the...?"
The insult to injury in the last game is they did it at the start and the end of the game, at the end murdering the specialist you selected as your best. "Ah is this one your favourite?" *Splat*
Astron Bryant Why not just press salt into the wound, before the final mission of EW, "I review my fallen soldiers in the honor wall, Their spilled blood will be re-payed in the final conflict, at the end of the day, I will claim their demise, or their causality count higher than the sky, either way, I will have victory, whether we lose the fight, or go into hiding, we will keep fighting, for we are XCOM!" I do wonder what happened to Dr Vahlen and Bradford though. (Felt a bit poetic at the time of writing.)
John Canavi someone grew a beard. It does make more sense now with what he was saying before. "I would never have imagined seeing these kind of recruits where the uniform"
Eh, still super scripted and cinematic. If this was ACTUAL gameplay footage, they'd have missed flanking shots on 99% to hit chances, and got crit killed by aliens with a 4% chance to hit.
andypants1000 They told many interviewer about it is actually scripted to look more cinematic but not way too over the top. You get the idea how things will work out. At lease this is not like highly scripted staged gameplay footage like many other AAA did.
andypants1000 Heh, the first unit I lost in a campaign in Enemy Unknown was due to a shotgunner missing a 99% overwatch shot at close range against a Floater.
+XoRandomGuyoX How do you know it was a 99%? Overwatch shots don't show the percentage chance, in addition it also has an aim penalty which is why you missed.
Yeah, this gameplay trailer was quite scripted, but it was awesome! And you know what? After playing multiple campaigns of XCOM2, War of the Chosen and Chimera Squad, this totally encapsulates the feeling of many a mission I had to play. Well done guys.
Nice to come back here after all these years and see how it was shown to all of us for the first time. brings back old memories. XCOM 2 turned out to be a great game worthy of the name and the war of the chosen expansion was a great boost to it.
I know this is a concept video and all, but I really wish there was a set of breaking concealment voice lines like "Going loud." That would've been awesome.
According to Firaxis, this is a mix of the intro mission with some scripted scenes made only for the E3 presentation. This is not representative of the actual gameplay mechanics we'll see in the final product.
Rei dos Vermes Of course it is not what actual gameplay is going to look like. The first three shots from the soldiers would have missed and that hack attempt would have failed at least twice.
+Eazy Sound effect and the futuristic guns sounds superb. The design of the weapons look realistic and feasible. Only thing is the game is turn based. I prefer rts actually. Why is X-COM fighting humans instead of aliens? Cult of Sirius had taken over the government?
***** ok noted. I played xcom3 apocalypse, xcom4 interceptor up to xcom enforcer. Didn't play the prequel of this newest xcom anyway. Got it, now new xcom became insurgents
Pity some of the bits seen in this footage did not end up in the final game Seeing the Berserker chasing towards the escaping soldiers was epic Also, the placing of the explosive was cool and would have been a welcome change to the one seen in the game
+Einar Gissurarson +The Spectator Yeah I feel the same way. Last thing I remember the alien mothership was confetti for the XCOM ticker-tape parade and Bradford was getting shot down by Vahlen at the post-invasion wrap party.
+Einar Gissurarson As far as I know, the canon is that XCOM was betrayed by the council nations jsut ebfore they reached laser weaponry. Technically, you blowing up the ship never happened. I think this story for the game was made upon ealising just how few people anaged to beat XCOM on Ironman Impossible.
Some scripted scenes? It's heavily scripted. Which was pretty darn clear if you've actually played the previous xcom. So many things didn't make any sense in that clip they showed, because it was made to sell you the game. I bet you'll still have the 50% miss rate on newer squad members they just didn't show it in the clip because... that would have been quite annoying.
+huldu It's called a cinematic trailer, the important thing is you saw the main gameplay, you saw gameplay elements which could intrest you and grab your attention. what the trailer is suppose to show is what the game is about briefly, while giving enough visuals to entertain and sell, besides, it isn't finished yet. ;)
+huldu Good thing to, i wouldnt want it to be like this, The thing I would have found is when the 2 soliders got killed and you could do nothing about it, what if that was the actual game? yeesh
The gameplay is obviously heavily scripted, but it does encapsulate the experience of the final game pretty well, so I'm not too bothered by it. However, a downgrade I will never understand are the changes in sound design. Everything just sounds so much better in the E3 Gameplay. Both XCOM and ADVENT are more talkative. Weapons sound punchier, and also have bullet impact sounds. There are distant ambient sounds, such as intercom voices, crowds of people screaming, police sirens, etc. The magnetic guns sound a lot better, like actual high tech ballistic weapons, where as in the final game, they sound like Star Wars blasters. The ADVENT soldiers sound more intimidating, and their voices are radio filtered, which would be expected if an alien empire wanted to hide their true nature from the public. In the final game, they gave them these comical high pitched voices that sounds silly and wouldn't even be fooling a child. I need an E3 inspired soundpack mod ASAP!
A nice plot twist. It's new, it's fresh, hope the creators manage to use it well. As a veteran of X-COM Terror from the Deep, I can't wait for this new X-COM!!!
+Hobbes Tiger I'm with you on that one, I adore how much more intimidating the aliens look now. Less colour-full and more aggressive. Plus snake woman (homage to snake man back in the day)
The more i look back at this trailer while yes i know you learn in the game that advent are still bad guys abducting etc the trailer makes it look like xcom have just become a terrorist organization
I think (although prob controversial) it would be an interesting concept to be perceived as a terrorist organization in the beginning and through missions and objectives slowly win the favor of the public over. Like in the beginning if you run past civies they spot you and alert the guards and then later if you spread your “propaganda” more either they won’t alert you or may even pick up dead enemies weapons and try to help and fight
What really should have happened: No time for planning because there is a timer while concealed Make some shitty rushed plan because there's a timer while concealed for whatever reason After concealment both overwatch misses and the advent flank and get crit shots killing 2 soldiers. 1st shots from the 3 other advent revealed immediately murder your whole team. uninstall and refund the game immediately 10/10
how you can make sound like this? deep and soft bass? I tried to use the realtek hd audio settings but it’s close in sound and it’s not like in this video
I thought this introduction ABSOUTLY STUNNING, BREATHTAKING AND BRILLIANT but the cahanges to the used Starting scenes must had come because this Into here makes XCOM really look like REAL LIFE TERRORISTS. - Guess the 2 K and Fireaxis - people wanted both to avoid another AIRPORT SCENE SCANDAL as the one created by the still much discussed CALL OF DUTY GAME. For example on UA-cam: The No Russian Controversy, put on the Net by Optimus
what i hope for are news reports of your actions like the xcom eu doom tracker where you see the news and you see the nations loising fate in advent that would be cool
Can't wait, looks so damn good. =D Those with a keen eye among you (and played Enemy Within) may notice that the Advent Mecs use the same animation set as the XCOMs' Mecs in Enemy Within (just look at the movement, standing still stance and firing animations). Don't take that as a criticism, that's fair play IMO as I'm sure making animation sequences takes a damn long time, so they might as well re-purpose some of the animations they've already worked hard on =)
4:25 I was a little disappointed that they didn't bring that slow motion to the game. But it's still the best strategy game in my opinion. I haven't found an alternative that brings good tactics together with the best graphics. Still looks very good in 2024 and i still waiting for XCOM 3 :(((((
If you're still thinking about buying it, it's on sale now on steam with all expansion packs for a very good price. For pc I would say it's a must buy. Don't even think about buying it for ps4 though, I made that mistake as I didn't have money for a good pc and well, I can't complete any ironman run because it crashes all the time.
The only thing that i hated about the trailer is the fact that i never move to the orange i always reserve 1 AP incase i see someone i can shoot Buuut thats just me ._.
Those 4 red squares shown by the wall at 3:47 -- does that represent the aliens line of sight or whatever would trigger their half move... if so, THANK YOU Fraxis much needed from EU.
Looks more espionage-ish, too cartoon and sort of lame and boring gameplay.(compare to XCOM) But I guess there is less spooky time when moving to somewhere and a soldier just spot an alien in a very bad situation like no cover. lol
So much unfairness. They shouldn't let enemies jump out of nowhere and kill without us being able to react to it. That snake enemy is unfair. Enemy dropships + they can attack at the same turn is unfair. Those robots big enemies emerging from nowhere and killing one guy. This game could be so much better.
Will there be combat inside buildings that's better than enemy unknown? It said the people behind the assault of this one alien building were arrested during that news part.
For me it dosent make sense that I can see the life-bar of the enemy. How would one know that? I preferred the mystery of not knowing when an enemy would die. It made stuff more unpredictable. But the whole style and atmosphere in this demo is amazing.
Just downloaded this on my PS4. I have no prior history to this game of any kind. Do ya just point and follow the marker you place? Is there ever any free roam? Or control of your character? More in depth I guess?

3. so I was not hearing things
10. are you sure its the camera?😂
The only thing im sad they changed from this gameplay reveal was the look and sound of the advent rifles.
thank god they changed the advent hybrid's voices tho.
Please don't tell me everyone only speaks English. I really enjoyed hearing my troopers in EW speak in their native tongues.
PS: EW's 5 column HP display is better.
John Doe I believe they said that not only will there be multiple languages, but english speakers will have accents depending on where they are from.
+jijonbreaker If you listen closely some of the soldiers had 'said' accents.
***** Was just clarifying for the OP. I was already well aware of that.
jijonbreaker Ah, good to know then. carry on sir.

If only the enemy spawned inside of trucks, that would be cool and frightening
BEST GAME EVER!!!
Really wish the soldiers actually gave lines like the one in this trailer it just feels like they don't have enough personality.
it feels good to see that modern day gaming still has some good games

I'm so sad they discontinued the game for playstation :(
PS4 version please!!!
So is the game actually anything like this? Pumped for the console release after playing enemy within, but this seems too good.
Yes. I'd say it's even better. Get it now
The sound URGH so good
I wish they make xcom 1 compatible with my intel android tablet

Astron Bryant Why not just press salt into the wound, before the final mission of EW, "I review my fallen soldiers in the honor wall, Their spilled blood will be re-payed in the final conflict, at the end of the day, I will claim their demise, or their causality count higher than the sky, either way, I will have victory, whether we lose the fight, or go into hiding, we will keep fighting, for we are XCOM!"
I do wonder what happened to Dr Vahlen and Bradford though.
(Felt a bit poetic at the time of writing.)
John Canavi woah! wait, your telling me that is Bradford? If so, he has taken a look at the 'how to look cooler: XCOM edition' guide
John Canavi someone grew a beard.
It does make more sense now with what he was saying before. "I would never have imagined seeing these kind of recruits where the uniform"
wow
Russian dies first.
Again.
Oh, guys, please, such a strange passion :(
enjoy it guys these types of rpgs just dont do it for me 😕
Rpgs? Nope, Turn Based Strategy.
Only the cut scene is nice.
Снова русский умирает первым(
Sure the alians are forming a new world order. Think they are alil bit too late for that. The politicians already doin it hah ;)
Cringe
Eh, still super scripted and cinematic. If this was ACTUAL gameplay footage, they'd have missed flanking shots on 99% to hit chances, and got crit killed by aliens with a 4% chance to hit.
andypants1000 They told many interviewer about it is actually scripted to look more cinematic but not way too over the top. You get the idea how things will work out. At lease this is not like highly scripted staged gameplay footage like many other AAA did.
andypants1000 Gah, hit reply too fast. Also, they said this will likely to be a tutorial mission. Tutorial mission also scripted like this in XCom EU.
andypants1000 The ammount of salt in this comment is hurting my eyes. lol
andypants1000 Heh, the first unit I lost in a campaign in Enemy Unknown was due to a shotgunner missing a 99% overwatch shot at close range against a Floater.
Rei dos Vermes well now, who'd have thunk innit :P
Rei dos Vermes Of course it is not what actual gameplay is going to look like. The first three shots from the soldiers would have missed and that hack attempt would have failed at least twice.
CaptmagiKono That overwatch so unreal XD
It was pretty damn close
1:19 its a thin man.
+Eazy Wow good job for spotting that
+Eazy Also the advent soldiers dont seem to bleed blood - its like a green fluid.
+Eazy yes 100% is thin nam
+Eazy Sound effect and the futuristic guns sounds superb. The design of the weapons look realistic and feasible. Only thing is the game is turn based. I prefer rts actually. Why is X-COM fighting humans instead of aliens? Cult of Sirius had taken over the government?
***** ok noted. I played xcom3 apocalypse, xcom4 interceptor up to xcom enforcer. Didn't play the prequel of this newest xcom anyway. Got it, now new xcom became insurgents
01:21 Is that a Thin Man?
Pity some of the bits seen in this footage did not end up in the final game
Seeing the Berserker chasing towards the escaping soldiers was epic
Also, the placing of the explosive was cool and would have been a welcome change to the one seen in the game
...but I blew up the mothership.
+Einar Gissurarson LOL IKR.... AND MY BEST SOLDIER KILLED HERSELF TO DO IT!!! WHYYY
+Einar Gissurarson +The Spectator Yeah I feel the same way. Last thing I remember the alien mothership was confetti for the XCOM ticker-tape parade and Bradford was getting shot down by Vahlen at the post-invasion wrap party.
+Einar Gissurarson
As far as I know, the canon is that XCOM was betrayed by the council nations jsut ebfore they reached laser weaponry. Technically, you blowing up the ship never happened. I think this story for the game was made upon ealising just how few people anaged to beat XCOM on Ironman Impossible.
This is meant to be a continuation for those who couldn't save humanity.
@@predator5775 nope
Some scripted scenes? It's heavily scripted. Which was pretty darn clear if you've actually played the previous xcom. So many things didn't make any sense in that clip they showed, because it was made to sell you the game. I bet you'll still have the 50% miss rate on newer squad members they just didn't show it in the clip because... that would have been quite annoying.
Yoy
+huldu It's called a cinematic trailer, the important thing is you saw the main gameplay, you saw gameplay elements which could intrest you and grab your attention. what the trailer is suppose to show is what the game is about briefly, while giving enough visuals to entertain and sell, besides, it isn't finished yet. ;)
+huldu Good thing to, i wouldnt want it to be like this, The thing I would have found is when the 2 soliders got killed and you could do nothing about it, what if that was the actual game? yeesh
Samuel Mcauliffe that would suck
What really should have happened:
No time for planning because there is a timer while concealed
Make some shitty rushed plan because there's a timer while concealed for whatever reason
After concealment both overwatch misses and the advent flank and get crit shots killing 2 soldiers.
1st shots from the 3 other advent revealed immediately murder your whole team.
uninstall and refund the game immediately
10/10
JusticeBringer
I really hope you didn't actually do that.
Those mech animations were totally recycled from the MEC suit... and it doesnt help that xcom doesnt get MECs in this game.
Is it just me that thinks the Sound Effects were better here then in the final product? :P
1:15 Jim Carrey has taken over!
Wait a second... the eyepatch/awesome bear man (totally not snake) has been taken out by a SNAKE? (Metal Gear Solid VI confirmed)
how you can make sound like this? deep and soft bass?
I tried to use the realtek hd audio settings but it’s close in sound and it’s not like in this video
I swear to god. If this is how the new marvel game looks I’m starting a petition
Can someone explain why I missed out when this game came out 8 years ago? Maybe because I was 9
Can anyone find the soundtrack for this demo?
вконце просто МУРАШКИ когда побежал подбирать раненого солдата и спас .сигнальные огни,зона для взлета.круто.не ожидал.
At 3:23 you can see a lady who looks like lily shen on the right side of the crowd.
what i hope for are news reports of your actions like the xcom eu doom tracker where you see the news and you see the nations loising fate in advent that would be cool
wow theses new aliens makes the previous ones child play lol :O
Can't wait, looks so damn good. =D
Those with a keen eye among you (and played Enemy Within) may notice that the Advent Mecs use the same animation set as the XCOMs' Mecs in Enemy Within (just look at the movement, standing still stance and firing animations).
Don't take that as a criticism, that's fair play IMO as I'm sure making animation sequences takes a damn long time, so they might as well re-purpose some of the animations they've already worked hard on =)
I'll give advent this, their news channels have some really nice music and graphics for the feeds.
Wow! Awesome game!
I got to where you have to defend the avenger. And I actually was getting scared. Because the waves of enemies wouldn't stop! Lol
The action music is awesome! I realy hope they keep it.
ЭЛита здесь!
Roman Strekalov Одно, но я видел этот gameplay неделю назад.
Меня это тоже напрягает.
4:25 I was a little disappointed that they didn't bring that slow motion to the game. But it's still the best strategy game in my opinion. I haven't found an alternative that brings good tactics together with the best graphics. Still looks very good in 2024
and i still waiting for XCOM 3 :(((((
походу, вот то что красным подсвечивали зону их обзора, показывают только до того момента, пока не начнется полноценный бой(тобишь пока не спалили)
Some much goodness here! :D
This looks great! Better than I thought actually. I just bought enemies unknown and now wonder if I should have got this one.
If two dead soldiers and a destroyed statue is considered a successful mission or a victory it's no wonder earth was lost
Bruh if it was me playing this demo I would've won in 3 minutes flat.
The only thing that i hated about the trailer is the fact that i never move to the orange i always reserve 1 AP incase i see someone i can shoot Buuut thats just me ._.
4:30 yeah... right.... nice cheats.
Overall its not how you play XCOM.
Those 4 red squares shown by the wall at 3:47 -- does that represent the aliens line of sight or whatever would trigger their half move... if so, THANK YOU Fraxis much needed from EU.
Looks more espionage-ish, too cartoon and sort of lame and boring gameplay.(compare to XCOM)
But I guess there is less spooky time when moving to somewhere and a soldier just spot an alien in a very bad situation like no cover. lol
boring Gameplay?
Compared to Xcom? ITS THE FUCKING SAME.
+Tubbelol It goes both ways, besides it is Xcom where the enemies are designed to fuck you over and you have to react accordingly
pls bring to consoles i am just a poor peasant and cannot afford pc
connothecowboy the sales of the original and bureau sales just dont make it worth it
the original did well enough to warrant enemy within. and the bureau was an abomination that deserved to die regardless
good thing the berserker waited for its turn
I'm way too excited for this game
I forgot to say
This could be used as a benchmark
Still ,not really ,since some of the stuff here are forced not actual gameplay.
Hold on a second -_-
Is that a reference to Inside gaming -rewind? (the name of the news thing called 'inside advent -rewind)
I do wish the ADVENT troopers talked more, rather than being "mute".
that hacking would be very op in vanilla
Мне одному послышалось что кого-то там гей-крашером называли? 0_о
i want it!!!!
Game still looks like alpha, but release on Nov 2015. I'm worried.
preety sure 2016
if this is not actual natural gameplay why label it as 'gameplay' if the scene is scripted
Just downloaded this on my PS4. I have no prior history to this game of any kind. Do ya just point and follow the marker you place? Is there ever any free roam? Or control of your character? More in depth I guess?
It's a Turn based Strategy Game.
There's not much else to say. But then again, your COmment is a Year old.
i like coming back here every once in a while, because this gameplay trailer was sweeeeeeeeeeet
CANT wait to november :( Looks like a fantastic game. Cant wait...
