  • Didn't come out like I was expecting. I think I'll try Alcohol inks Next time to really get the colors to look more translucent. But, it still made a nice cane when put into a piece of jewelry.

    I like the cutter for mokume gane . I know this would be to expensive but it keeps going though my head, so in an effort to get it out I am going to say it. What about a grid cutter with additional inserts ( maybe purchase separately ) that fit into grid .? I know I’m crazy . I was thinking that mokume gane is very random and if I could add a chosen pattern it might be interesting. I could choose a pattern I liked and make different mokume gane in different colors or different shades like black and white. I’m going to stop now . Ha ha
