Im gonna try actually 2 deathballs. Anyways im always supporting here even if i dont try the strats, maybe i find something interesting, you never dissapoints.
If up you have the levels (lvl 27 base) it is even easier the p2 change doesn't kill the towers so you can just start the second push at the top tower immediately
great tactic. this one makes garr the easiest fight in mc. one thing: i used CD with seal fate (minis die anyway after it runs out) and i used moonkin instead of Pyro (dropping moonkin in the ball, BEFORE using CD)
wow thats very impressive....almost didnt have enough damage hahaha.... but we're sticking to the previous strategy you provided us, we are getting very used to it now thanks to you
I have been mainly searching for strategies that are doable with the lowest possible levels, and the previous deathball strategy can still be done with lower levels than this one. But I figured I should also try to provide faster alternatives for more leveled minis.
This map is easy. Don't go offense on both sides or you couldl be overwhelmed by golems. Just capture the first tower on each side then go offense on one side and defense on the other side. A single Dryad can do well on defense as she can root a golem indefinitely, assuming you don't have other Minis around. you can have some other Minis who do elemental damage to help her.
Nice quick kill, OG and Turtle! Is it just me or did Cheat Death only last about 4 seconds there? Since you had it boosted to 28 -- higher than all your other minis -- shouldn't it have lasted longer than 5 seconds?
Yesterday I did 1st and 2nd wing without communication with another member of my guild and today I saw that he wrote on the chat that he won't help me with the other bosses because it's IMPOSSIBLE to do Geddon/Golemagg/Ragnaros without real-time communication. Is it true? I thought that it's all about "knowing what to do" from your guides and levels on the last 3 bosses. Nevertheless on Lucifron you have to coordinate which Lieutenant to kill and watch if the base isn't being attacked, on Magmadar you have to coordinate Execute, on Gehennas you have to play S.A.F.E. Pilot (once you and once your guild friend) and on Garr you have to watch out for Trolls on the whole map, for Elementals and remember to give Tirion/Cenarius to your friend. Also on every boss you have to watch if your base isn't attacked at the moment and send miners actively. So you have to coordinate on EACH of these bosses. The main difference between 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th wing are the levels, so you need more levels on Geddon/Golemagg/Ragnaros to make this work. And that's all imo, isn't it right? Maybe I am mistaken, but I can't even check if I'm true because I can't play raid by myself. 🤷♂
I don't think it is impossible at all. Of course, as the bosses gain more levels, you have less leeway, and voice comms help. Golemagg is the easiest of the three to do without comms, as long as you both know the general plan. I don't see it being that much harder than the earlier bosses. It is an aggressive strategy that may require multiple attempts, especially at lower levels. There are some opening hands with which you can do it with voice comms, but that can be hard without. If you know what to do, I'd expect it to be doable within 10 pulls even without voice comms though. Depending on your exact comps, you can agree things in advance, like who uses Cheat Death first or who extends poison with Quilboar first. (both minis may be present in one or both armies) Ragnaros is also not that hard if you know the plan, actually. Probably even fewer pulls than Golemagg, but that is because of the nature of the fight, Ragnaros being a slow fight where you need to know what to do in phase transitions and in the final push in overtime compared to Golemagg being a very fast fight where the opening is crucial and you win or lose fast. Geddon is the hardest of the three. I've been trying to build an easier strategy for it. There are ways to beat it with Meat Wagons, Gargoyles, Darkspear Trolls, and/or Plague Farmers quite quickly if you have enough levels. With very high-level accounts, it becomes fairly simple to execute again, but at low levels it has required quite careful play since the buffs. Retaking the towers is the crucial part, but you may be able to agree in advance which player takes which towers back. You may also need to work together on the top-right tower an maybe agree who drops Whelps there first. If anything goes wrong, it can be hard to adjust without comms. Also, you need to know when to go for the final push. You can try to agree that in advance too, like at the start of overtime, but again, there may be opportunities that you cannot fully take advantage of without voice comms. I would do Golemagg before Geddon. It is a fast fight, and you can chat through text every few pulls to see how it goes. Just pull, pull, and pull, and then adjust as you start to get a feel for how it goes and what does not work.
@@OldGuardian Thanks! I thought that it is possible but it's much harder than with communication. And it turns out that it needs some things to be agreed in advance in chat, even more things than "who builds a deathball and who defends" on Garr. I also thought that Golemagg before Geddon will be better just to see if it would be even successful (and thanks to that Golemagg fight is quite short, it can be redone again fast). And about Geddon I've heard from my guild friends that it's even harder than Ragnaros (that agrees with this what you wrote - Ragnaros should be easier without communication than Geddon). Again I think that I won't try Golemagg this MC cycle (and I'm not sure if even next cycle), but this because I've quite freshly done 2nd wing (it was I think only 2nd or 3rd time at max when I did also 3rd and 4th boss) and also the levels for 3rd wing will be crucial to do this without communication. Maybe I should look at minis that are used in Geddon/Golemagg/Ragnaros and put them in priority to give them EXP in the first place (and buy them from the G.R.I.D. in the first place - with the Rare-o-mat for example).
As it happens, I now have a new Geddon strategy where you don't have to retake towers, so you need less communication - ua-cam.com/video/u8YXyTpNQ-M/v-deo.html
Sort of, yes. Geddon kills everything near it at all phase changes, which makes it trickier, but there are some ways. Turtle and I have been trying to optimize them recently, I hope we'll be able to get it done this cycle.
Is there anything known about this upcoming "Ysera Event"? Is it another gold spending event? I spent what gold I had saved getting the Star Tomes from the tree in the last event.

@@OldGuardian yea loved it. eventually everyone's gonna level up a little bit assuming we dont just all quit XD
Nice. I can’t get past wing 3. My minis have good levels, but guild mates not so much. Hard to push those higher levels.

I played with my teammate from guild, he was pushing Drac on left and me Drac on Right was super easy, no defense

Great guide 👍 can Geddon be taken out in a single push with high levels? Just wondering 😅

OK, new strategy for Baron Geddon is ready. ua-cam.com/video/u8YXyTpNQ-M/v-deo.html

It's more like the Cenarion Festival.
You playing with your new account of course when you control all both player its easy but we play with random guys
Does this strategy stop working if your cards are higher level? Cheat death won't last as long on a level 30 drakk vs a level 25 drakk.

Could you cook us a good recipe for Geddon please ? This boss is bullshit….
Yes, I have been working on that all week. Here it is: ua-cam.com/video/u8YXyTpNQ-M/v-deo.html
