i wouldnt add more bricks ever. centurion is maybe a small exception because it adds a legitimate win condition to the deck and lets you play through interruptions a bit better
in my limited testing i dont think its worth it you end up making generic fiendsmith plays that work better in snake eyes or fiend decks it does potentially absorb more hand traps, but we might not even be going into a hand trap meta i was interested initially because it would make chaos angel more accessible and engraver+rciela is 12, but tbh there isnt real synergy. im not saying its bad, because fsmith cards are broken, but i think its copium to say there's real synergy
I hear you about Hand Traps over Breakers. But I really feel like you glossed over Forbidden Droplet in this video. It’s resource intensive for sure, but you can still set the Toy cards and send them for free advantage, it’s good against Yubel at least
So does Moon of the closed heavens effect let you use 2 monsters from your opponent if you link summon underworld goddess, obvs goddess let's you use 1 monster your opponent controls for it's link summon, but if you used moons affect would you be able to use 2, I can't quiet work out how it would resolve because you are still using one monster your opponent controls for Underworld Goddesses summoning requirement
It's one each from underworld and moon. So moon is basically like a soul exchange to support underworld link monster. Moon can target one monster to use while underworld can use another monster to use its effect. Just as long as you have enough materials to make it.
@@longface101 that's kinda nutty then, but of a shame it's an activated affect although I guess if it was just use a monster this card points to that would be a bit rediculous as you could ip on your opponents turn and use 2 monsters into goddess that would be really strong but still being able to use 2 monster so long as closed sky doesn't get negated is still quite strong
so, in conclusion, Do you think centu-rion version is going to be the best option to this format or do you think only toy version would have more chance?? Love your videos a lot .)
technically its possible to play white woods centurion without the toy cards, but i dont see why you would do that because the toys are the best part of the deck. if you wanted to fit more centurion cards in you could possible play 3 box, 1 soldier, 1 tank - but i am currently on 3 soldier and even 1 rota because i want to see it as much as possible centurion version gets better the more the format shifts to breakers because you can calamity lock them , but if we go into a hand trap format then we will have to experiment more
i do prefer runick with DRNM and evenly in the main over every other WW variant. Is it the best option ? maybe not ? does it make a lot of fun ? absolutly !
You mentioned draws being very easy to get in one of your other videos. With that in mind, how do you feel about cards like Magicat and Clear Effector? Also, would you be willing to show us more Runick White Woods combos? Thanks!
1 - drawing after a certain point is redundant because you will reach your deck's ceiling before you finish drawing, in which case youd rather a draw effect be anything else 2 - those cards are bricks so i would for sure not play them i will make a video on ratios soon to explain reasoning behind this
What do you think of salvation engine that can search secret village or Shrine of Wedju to be able to summon level 8 and 6 monsters? I was trying the Fiendsmith engine but it just doesn’t feel that synergistic.
i think those cards fall into the 'win more' category because they dont do anything by themselves but if your hand is already playable then they make your board better those types of cards are dangerous because if your hand is low or empty on engine then they brick you, and if your hand was high on engine then you were gonna play anyhow ive seen some lists on horus cards plus rainbow bridge do well but you also add in a brick (hapi) and a bad draw (king's sarc) because imsety is the only card without negative card economy
for the runick variant, people have been using both chaos angel and chenying to banish and not have to depend on the battle phase to clear the board
I've been playing a Witchcrafter Engine.. a couple more bricks, but if you get going.. It's pretty good.
i wouldnt add more bricks ever. centurion is maybe a small exception because it adds a legitimate win condition to the deck and lets you play through interruptions a bit better
Oh boy I sure can’t wait for engraver to be a $100 card
I'm actually running white woods with fiendsmith
Have you tried fiendsmith engine in WW?
Beatrice sending blue tears to set woes is a way to play around droll and get into WW plays.
in my limited testing i dont think its worth it
you end up making generic fiendsmith plays that work better in snake eyes or fiend decks
it does potentially absorb more hand traps, but we might not even be going into a hand trap meta

im covering this exact scenario in my next video on ratios/math and why its not worth playing in white woods
White Woods isn't going to get a time period to shine :c

Dweller is a good option for rank 4
