In the video game, world items can't be destroyed unless they were programmed to be x1 use items, like the Caloric Stones or Ouroborus, but in the new world it "Could" be construed that because it's a physical object, even those it has reality altering powers, it might still be destroyable.
Could because he's still unfamiliar with the magic that existed in that world. Remember that there was a magic that can even mind control/break a maxed out high level floor guardian.
@@zaberfangItems like the level-boosting ring and razor edge were made using the wild magic the dragonlords use, which acts similarly to world items. I doubt Ainz would actually be willing to risk one of his world items to test it, but it's entirely possible that razor edge could damage or destroy one.
I would actually like an anime that starts like this: *Demon Lord takes over the world *Kills Prince Charming *Yandere Princess resurrects Prince Charming by dealing with the Devil *They both become Demons in the Demon Lord’s grave (which is more like a castle) *He grinds strength for a 1000 years in said grave *He goes for revenge on EVERY.SINGLE.MAJOR.DEMON. While having to cope with the fact that princess’s true nature is NOT what he fell in love with. I think that it would make a pretty cool anime pitch. Climb did his best; even he knew he didn't have a snowball's chance in hell but he held on to those two tools he had, the ring and the sword and acted out as he could to at least wound Ainz. Hell, he even joked at how it was an honor Ainz would decide to use magic on someone like him to finish him off.
Its bcz razor edge wild magic hability is to cut through eveything, even Ainz magical defenses, so he stopped It from reaching the world item just in case that It can also cut through it

I like that Ainz calls out hero tropes when fighting the villain. In times of desperation, the hero would be able to summon a power to defeat the villain. But Ainz ain't your typical villain. He's THE villain.
That's a stupid way to put it. Great inspiration for the modern days. No marketing bs or shortcuts when it comes to health, discipline and strength. All you gotta do is going past the limits and "climbing" all by yourself. The only way to come out on top
I like how Climb noticed that Ainz protected his red orb, that smile going "He has a weak spot! I have a chance!" I think in the novel the sword hits the orb and does nothing, which blows that out of the water as one last bit of hopelessness. But in this, it makes Ainz actually feel like he's ending the fight now because Climb found a potential way to actually damage him, or at least his World Item. Which would be the smarter play, so long as it hasn't been established in this universe that the orb can't be hurt by the sword. It might have not been a world item, but it could have bs powers nonetheless.
Ainz is still impressed the attack got through considering the lv difference between him and climb. Had that been an attack from players if equal level, that would have been a good strike.
