9-10 l/100 km in my mix. Only Autobahn probably around 10....if you drive very calm on the country roads there’s also an 8,x possible.

Ich hab den Shooting Brake seit März als 2.0 TDI 4Motion mit 200PS. Der auch schon überraschend gut nach vorne! Alles in allem ein richtig gut gelungenes Auto und meiner Meinung nach der schönste "Kombi" den VW bisher gebaut hat.
12,9 ist flott für die Größe und das Gewicht!

Ich finde den Wagen auch wirklich toll , jedoch liege ich bei knappen 75.000€ bei meiner Konfiguration ( nichtmal alles was geht genommen )..
Und bei dem Preis kann man schon über nen c63 Kombi als Vorführwagen nachdenken .. es gibt in dieser Preisklasse viele andere Alternativen die jedoch in einer anderen Klasse spielen ... ob Panamera , c63 , m550 uvm ...
mal sehen wie sich der Preis als jahreswagen entwickelt , aber ich finde zudem ein 2.0l 4zylinder für ein so großes Auto mit soviel Leistung wird sicher nicht die Souveränität und Langlebigkeit wie oben genannte Beispiele haben ...

I installed a Race Chip on my 2019 Arteon 2.0T with 268 hp here in Canada ( ordered from Germany ). I use it for over 1 year and very happy with it. Busted power for additional 50 hp. Car runs much smoother and much more economical. Racechip gave me more power and at the same time about 1 L / 100 km better fuel consumption.
Where did you buy it from, I too have one but the 2018 version.
@Franz Fanon They claim 50 hp. I would say noticable difference in power and better fuel consumption. My friend put it on 2016 passat tdi and same thing. Check Skoda Superb 2.0 racechip video this is the same motor as mine and I would say I got the same result.

That's what they should've done but I guess they needed to make some gap for S5. An Arteon with RS3/TT RS' 400hp 2.5T would be too good to be true.

My dad had the Arteon 1.5 TSi Evo R Line.
I know it wasnt no R but it was lovely to drive.
VW messed up big-time with giving it to my dad and didnt check tyre pressures, as they left them in high pressure when they display them in the showroom, to help prevent tyres going square.
This is the Arteon they should offer in the United States. It's already a super niche car, but the wagon (or "shooting brake") body style would give the Arteon something that makes it unique. The R powertrain also is much more impressive than the puny 268HP version we get with the Aisin 8-speed automatic vs. the 7-speed DSG.
yep. the aisin feels so stupid...feels like it has 2 stages of delay before it really pushes the car

Das zeigt doch klar das VW einen was vormacht bei den 320 PS :D egal welches Model und wie schwer alle gehen 4.7 oder unter. Die haben alle viel mehr um dann begeistert zu sein
PS sind nicht alles. Ein Porsche (selbst die Panameras) sind immer recht schnell für ihre Leistung. Spricht wohl neben dem Gut im Futter Stehenden 2.0 TSi für eine gute Motor-Getriebe Abstimmung😬
Now this is very interesting :) Could you please compare the COMFORT of this car (Seats, suspension, DCC etc) Im a GTI Clubsport owner and the only thing that really bugged my on a Golf was that the seats are no way near as comfortable as our old Volvo V70 Classic from round 2000 here in the family. Ithink this is a subject that could be very interesting, as most people never seem to cover it. Maby compare a Passat or a CC & Golf GTI/R to this?
Volvo seats always have been superb of course:) But these new R seats with integrated headrest are really comfortable also on long distance drives. Also the DCC can be put to a very soft setting. I’m driving the suspension in Sport currently as it (for me) is too soft otherwise😜
Comparing it to a Golf 7 Clubsport the ride comfort is a lot better. But of course this car is a lot bigger and therefore cornering capabilities are significantly better in a Golf 8 R:)

Yes, I'm very pleased with what I'm seeing of the Arteon on several levels excepting the electric blue choice and one other. I would be taking the grey model only to have repainted a deeper navy or a British racing green.
The VR engine needs to get back !!

Volkswagen has their own 2.5liter 6-cylinder Vr6, with 500nm of torque and 300ps (software limited) unblocked power is around 400ps.

Disappointing that a large executive estate in its sportiest trim has the same engine as an equivalent small hatch. Would have loved the touareg r phev system (down tuned would make sense)

Verdammt schnell. Hab einen MY2021 Skoda Superb Sportline 272 PS mit einer Stage1 330 ps als Limousine. Trotz über 100kg Gewichtsvorteil ist der Arteon R schneller. Scheint wieder stark nach oben zu streuen.
Ich mach 4.8 auf 100 und ne 13.9 auf 200...
Gut, auch hier steht mal ne 13.9 100-200 auf der Box also ist der Unterschied zu deinem gemachten Superb nicht allzu groß. Aber klar, dass man in guten Läufen 13 Sekunden 100-200 auf gerader Strecke Schaft ist schon beeindruckend. Der Tiguan R läuft ja auch schon 14 Sekunden.

Guten Morgen =), hast Du Infos was VW alles beim 888 EVO III zu EVO IV verändert hat? Durch die Bank, angefangen beim normalen 8er GTI, gehen die Dinger echt wie die Hulle und sind deutlich performanter als die EVO III. Scheinbar wurde ja auch in diesem Zusammenhang die Getriebeabstimmung etwas verändert. Was der VW Konzern da gerade auffährt ist schon wirklich sehr beachtlich.
- andere Lader, grösser Garrett (8R) + Conti Audi S3 (mit Drehzahlsensor).
Turbo Inlet nun von 48 auf 50mm vor Turboeingang vergrössert bei 65mm 8R/ 61mm S3 Eintrittsdurchmesser.
zusätzlich Druckrohr deutlich vergrössert.
andere Kolbenbauform- Audi AVS (Ventil Lift System) wie bisher.
2. Lambda direkt in der Downpipe nach Abgasgehäuse.

is that the official time for the non-R (0-100)? in europe? .... the arteon in usa is at about 7-7.4 sec i think.....but it comes with the stupid Aisin transmission instead of dual clutch....horrible! :(

12,9 sek GPS fuer dieses Riesending mit 1,8 Tonnen ist ein Topwert. Das wuerde noch reichen den alten R richtig in den A... zu treten. Inklusive die Kompaktkurrenz. Im neuen Golf R wuetet dieser Motor wie ein Tier.

Da sieht man dann auch, dass 1ft rollout OFF ist und die korrigierte Zeit.
Ich sehe beim Abbiegen nach dem 100-200 run eine 12,89s mit -0,2% stehen. Wären korrigiert genau 13.0s .

I'd take one (sedan or shooting brake) over the Golf, even with the cons of the extra weight.
I would say that the car with a stage 2 woul easily handle 500hp, the gaer ratios are big but they are in need of more power
Pre Lift version of Arteon with 2.0 280 on stage2 was able to reach 400-410hp. This is the limit of is38 turbo. It is possible to reach 500hp but with some hybrid turbo :]
@Franz Fanon I would say a downpipe and intercooler and the chiptuning. Hybrid turbo is a stage 3.
@@tugrululger1095 Stage 2 of Gen 3 2.0 TSI -> Absolute minimum is Bigger cooler + Downpipe. If you want to use all IS38 juices you also need turbo inlet + turbo outlet, Intake as well as full custom exhaust. Such mods sholud produce about 410-420 Hp.

Nice. But a bit disappointing if u see doing i30N DCT nearly the same times with 40HP less. (5,4s - okay awd wins 0-100 - and 13,2s)
I30N is a compact car! Not the same size and weight (Arteon weight 1,800 kg!!). . If you compare the i30N you must take the GTI Clubsport. But it will annilate the corean with 11.5 sec to 100-200 kmh.
Take an corean which weighs over 1.800 kg and then you can compare. Despite the enormous weigh difference (over 300 kg!! the VW is heavier) it beats the light I30 DCT easely.

During Launch Control maximum performance shifts are performed. Therefore no farts. You can hear the regular sound during other acceleration situations.
