- Hello, in this video i made a disc sander from a blender motor.
My blender has been used for many years and I have replaced worn gears many times so this time I decided to buy a new blender. As for the old machine, I used its motor to make a disc sander. My disc sander easily replaces sandpaper with the door opening on top.
In the video you will see me sharpening drill bits, actually I am not good at this but I want you to see the convenience of this disc sander, you will definitely sharpen drill bits better than me, I will learn more. It is a clever idea to reuse the green plastic housing. Makes it much easier to mount the motor.

You should consider, because the blender motor does not work for too long, depending on the quality of the machine. My blender motor works for about 5 minutes then stops (about 5 minutes later the machine works again) but that's enough for my requirements. thanks for watching my video

Vey nice. I like to repurpose things also. Clever use of the blender's shell to mount the motor in your sander's frame. I'll try to remember that. Thanks for sharing.
