Thank you so much for all of your videos. I cantor at mass but do not read music. I've sung in Sweet Adeline choruses in the past. My first Director in the 1990's was David Wallace in Canton, Ohio. He was a Bowling Green University graduate and had his quartet had won national competitions. Your instruction reminds me of his and I appreciate your expertise. Singing is truly praying twice!
You're probably going from the B directly to the R. You have to figure out the vowel which is more OPEN than the R which is more closed. Think of the vowel for the word "Earth". You wouldn't say "Rrrrth" for "Earth". My online course has a college level program which teaches this stuff: www.musicministry101.com/advancedvocaltechnique
