I played TaskMaster last night into GotG/Thanos. After the game he is now an S tier character for me. The counters, the defense dice when attacked especially when in range 2 is so huge. He is a lock in my CS roster now.
I just started building and playing. I picked criminal syndicate and am very happy to have found your video. I found it was a great discussion. Would really enjoy if you did a video explaining the play styles.
Can you please do the other affiliations? Specifically as a fan of the bad guys I'd love to see Cabal, Spider Foes and Brotherhood of Mutants. I love Omega Red in the comics and as a new player I'm trying to make him work in a list.
We’re doing our best to get more Deep Dives out there! As far as Omega Red, I would recommend using him in Hydra. Baron Strucker’s leadership works wonderfully well with Omega’s poison. I’ve also seen Omega used with Malekith. He’d also work well with a supporting character that can move him around like Heimdall, Red Skull, or Lockjaw
I enjoyed the video, but I have to agree with Bob's (Bobby?) statement at the outset - you need to define your tiers clearly and immediately in every video. Unfortunately, I think that some of your tiers shifted mid-video. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what you three said, I *think* that your tiers were as follows: S = Characters/Cards that make your 5 every time or sit out 1/10 games. (Bullseye) A = Characters/Cards that make your 10 almost every time. (Ulik) B = Characters/Cards that have a valuable competitive niche, but aren't a must-pick. (Goblin) C = Characters/Cards that are mainly for fun. (New MODOK) D = Characters/Cards that AMG needs to rework and reprint. (Elektra) With that said, I enjoyed the video (great watch while painting!), I learned a lot, and am looking forward to more! P.S. Not to make these videos longer, but I'd like to see your preferred Crisis Cards as well. Maybe make a separate series that looks at the Crises and then notes which affiliations thrive under each one?
Thank you! Yes I’d say that pretty much defines our tiers. A character might not be in the squad every game but if they have a huge impact when you play them I’d still think of them as an S. Good idea to do a crisis focused video!
I like the concept of the video. I would be interested to see how you rank these same characters through the lense of a specific leader. One question I had was: how much do the tactic cards character needs/can bring weigh in on your tier assessment?
Thanks for the comment! I think a character's specific card can play a big role in it's tier ranking. For instance, Mystique would not be ranked so highly if she did not have Deception. In this specific case, we did mention that Rhino doesn't even need his card to be great. This is a Robbery is the gravy that makes Rhino the very top of S tier. I hope this has answered your question!
I'm always looking for more MCP content, and I'm very happy I found you all (especially as a player that's new to Crim Syn). I might've missed it, but do ya'll recommend two lists for Crim Syn? One for SLDD and one for Kingpin? Or does a combo list work? I play a combo list right now but I'm always looking for more suggestions.
I’ve been using M’Baku lately and I like him a lot! I would rank him in low A or upper B. He’s tanky, hits hard, and has multiple throws to take out big targets. I prefer him over Gwenpool nowadays.
MODOK leadership also benefits DEF roles -- not even discussed. Makes 'per turn' more often in play. Imagine his leadership with a pierce list. Plus all the trap setups with his ability to put attacks onto characters with reactive powers (OG Sabretooth anyone?). Believe his leadership is equal to a reroll on five dice, gets even better with larger dice pools.

Yes! This kind of MCP content is needed. There's too little of competitive content, or it is already dated. Thanks!
thx for the Video. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward for the other two (and also future) vids. Greetings

Thanks for checking it out! We are discussing what kinds of content to create and we will take your input into consideration!

Great vid. You said elektra can bring down ninjas within 3, what are you referencing here? It’s not on her card

I thought Lizard was as well!
What characters you guys would bring with DD and with king pin? Just curious on what others think are good pairings for them....
That Lizard play you talked about against Cross bone was crazy. such a cool thought.

I like taking a combo list!
Where would you all put MBaku now?

More please!

His leadership is really good and we probably should have discussed it more. What holds him back is how much he contributes as a 4 threat.
Nice channel!
Does Klaw's leadership move trigger when a grunt gets taken out? Specifically, do Daredevil's ninja lackeys getting thumped let Klaw move?
Yes, and we actually got this wrong in the video but even their action to KO themselves and pass off an extract will trigger his move.
