That is the standard rail system on a fast helmet (Emerson here I reckon). You can attach lights, or for example ear pro to them. Hope this answered your question.
In general, would you recommend a non braking MOSFET or an active braking MOSFET? I have heard that since some V3 gearboxes have locked up with an active braking MOSFET. Is that user error?

What's the difference between a high-powered airsoft shotgun (single shot, not the multi-shot or those sweet new APS "I work like a real shotgun so load me with whatever fits in the shell" ones), and an airsoft sniper rifle? Most of each seem to be spring-powered, 400+ FPS, etc. Is it just barrel length then that's the difference? If so, can you snipe with a cheaper shotgun?

I recently just got into the hobby grade of airsoft and didn't have much of a budget. My friend got a CYMA AK that was V-Powered and it performed awesomely. It was a cheap gun on the terms of airsoft, only $100. Can I still compare to some other people with $300 M4's?

Yo NSRT! I am a type 1 diabetic and I was wondering what I should do when going to operations? I have what's called an Omni pod that is about 2" by 1" and is a remotely controlled insulin pump that I place on either one of my arms or legs. how should I manage my blood sugars, what place (arm or leg) would you suggest I place my pump and am I even allowed to go to operations?

Hey guys, watching NRST recently has brought me back from a break I took from airsoft. The fields out where I live (Maine, USA) just get too boring and there has been a lot of crappy attitudes out here. But watching you guys reminds me that it's not like this everywhere and NSRT has made me want to get back out and try it again, with a new mind set of not having an imitation kit, and it's really just about having fun. So thank you guys. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys have ever felt the way I have about the sport sometimes? I would love to fly our to Cali sometime and really experience what airsoft is like outside of the forest setting. The closest I've been was Reality Check IV in Connecticut. Has the Evike team ever thought of bringing players out from areas where airsoft is less prevalent to give them a taste of what it's like?
A decent alternative to a Ghillie suit if you want to enhance concealment but not go all out is to use a so-called "Viper Hood." It's basically a hood that goes over top of your gear that has loads of loops for foliage scrim, and they usually can fit fairly easily over helmets. If you don't want to deal with any ghillie-type nonsense but want to still enhance concealment a bit, buy a helmet, a suitable cover (most people already have both), and use the foliage bands to scrim your helmet, or potentially even picking foliage and stuffing it between say your vest and your shirt or in MOLLE. These methods are, however, dependent on picking foliage, sometimes a LOT of foliage, and some events may have rules against damaging the play field, in which case using cuts of burlap or wrap will provide a somewhat similar effect, though it's not as good as proper scrim. Using camouflage face paint or simply dirtying up your face will also go a long way if you don't use face coverings. Camouflage face paint will stay on even in heavy rain, but that also makes it a BITCH to get off even with soap; if it's not going to rain, applying mud and letting it dry will work just as well and be much easier to clean, and don't forget the neck when you do this.
