I appreciate that, appreciate your words. I was trying to provide others with an understanding of my thinking, that is just not the 'typical thinking' of a man in prison, or what most might imagine; but that I actually but thought into my words.

@@superfuzzymomma I appreciate that, sincerely I do. The truth is this wasn't my idea to make a UA-cam channel. Everyone that personally knows me tells me I should write a book, tell people my story. I even had a few people contact me about writing a book about my life. I haven't told my story yet. I just want to do it to try and help others 'understand' some realities, help others know that they can't cast blame on others for their position in life, that each person needs to take personal responsibility. I want to prevent others from pain in their lives as much as possible, and that's why I decided to talk a bit. I figured the prison stories will help captivate, help catch people's ear, and also help those that are sincerely interested in the system understand that as well. I'm trying. My day today was horrible, maybe losing my place to live and my job at the same time, and with my record, my age, it's not a fun thought. But, I'm still here, trying to figure things out, and after all I have been through, and am going through, there is no reason anyone else can't fight through what they must as well. Thank you

Honest, strong, straightforward ….. as a high school teacher I try to let my students know success is their responsibility, but I am here to help you get to where you want to go. I tell them I am not handing out free marks, but I will support them, respect them and work harder than they do. And, lastly, I tell my students I never expect anything from them that I am not prepared to deliver myself. You, sir were not, “long winded”. Not at all. You were making excellent points that everyone needs to hear. Success whatever that might be is sometimes experienced, but the person who makes excuses or doesn’t want the work will always fail. Well I'm glad you are doing good, just stay focused, stay determined, and remember the pain involved when living negative. Life can be difficult, we know this, but if we make better decisions then things get a bit better, even if so slowly, it's worth it.
I did plenty of time with Patty and he was one of the toughest guys in the joint! He was madly respected, and I saw him fight a few times, very talented

It's a shame because he stood up for a lot of White guys & put plenty of Bloods on their back pockets. They ignorantly removed most college from the NY prison system with a few exceptions so I was not able to attend, but did take correspondence courses in human behavior, abnormal psychology and child psychology. My favorite was a man named Viktor Frankel who invented Logo therapy explained in a book titled Man's Search For Meaning. Studying all of this enabled me to find out 'why' I lived the way I did before incarceration.
@@InterstateVet Oh my God you will love his book Mans Search For meaning. The first part of the book is a little slow, intense but a little slow. The second part (all in one book) is POWERFUL! It's not a long book either, is a short read.

I know what you're saying, and a few of my friends want to me to start a podcast, because the truth is nobody has heard me tell me actual story yet and they believe it will amaze people. The thing is, I'm really interested in just helping youth live the right way. F the money, F the attention, if I know that I convinced a kid to steer clear of a life of pain, then when I die I will be able to rest a bit easier. I have spoken in many places on stage and the kids write me letters afterwards. That's GOLD to me! I'll work on a mic, headphones, not so sure. LOL
