Great session Brad. Do you see more bluffs in these higher staked games? Seems to be players aren't afraid to lose larger amounts, as they can afford it. Love the way you describe what your opponent may be thinking; or cards he may be holding. Thank you. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Brad has been making some big plays! Follow the textbook rules and have the guts to go all in when you know some of the time you are going to lose. That’s how you gain profit
Hi Brad, how much would you say on average do you tip dealers and cashiers per session, do you have a rule of thumb for that? Thanks and Pura Vida from Costa Rica!
Beautiful call with the AK against 99, so many hands got there on the river. I thought he had Q9 hearts for the missed flush draw the riveted the straight. Nice play mate.
In the quad 5's hand, the opponent wasn't necessarily drawing dead on the turn to the 5's as stated. If he held Ace-4 or Ace-2 of clubs he still had a chance at a straight flush on the river. (Or same in hearts.)
Sorry for the question but on the quad 5s hand, on the turn you say you opponent is drawing dead? What about hands like Ac2c or Ah4h - both straight flush draws? Very very VERY unlikely but not drawing dead (coming from a person who hit a one-outer to win with quads in Vegas in December).
The chances of either of those hands being in play is like 5000:1 and losing with quads will always be a cooler. If for some reason he runs into a SF after the opponents hasn’t folded in previous streets, it’s just a cooler, is what I assume he meant.
The question you gotta ask is whether the player in the UTG straddle in that hand would re-open the PF action against 4 players out of position with A2s or A4s. Both of those hands will generally just get checked PF in that type of situation cuz they play well postflop and the player wouldn’t wanna risk re-opening the action and potentially getting squeezed off the hand
On the quads hand, there were 2 hands which would have 2 outs each to beat you. 4 & 6 of either hearts or clubs had straight flush possible. With the initial raise, unlikely the player had either hand, but there hands with outs available.
Just because I'm finnicky, when you had quads there were still hands that were not drawing dead against you. He could have had an open ended straight flush draw, although I also assume that when you say he was drawing dead you were basing that on the hands you put him on
Poker at the Lodge post after four hours: 12 comments, under 100 upvotes. Brad after three hours: 25 comments, almost 1000 upvotes. Keep it up Brad!!! I learn so much from watching you play and running through your thought processes.
I'll be honest, I used to think the little similes and analogies were a bit cringe. But they've totally grown on me lol. The Frankenstein's monster's agent "repping a monster".... that was a good one.
Of the dozens of combos of bluffs that actually make more sense, you just magically put the guy on 99, a bluff that actually doesn't make sense? Makes sense lol
When that guy asked, "How much you had left in your Stack when you had quads." i think he was just asking to see how you would react so he could get some info to your voice tone.
Bro, why do you keep dropping replays? Come on BO, you’re better than that. You said content twice a week and sometimes 3 but I only see once or less. Replays and greatest hits don’t count as new content and are really only good when you’re buying your favorite bands GREATEST HITS ALBUM so you can hear all your favorite songs together. Not with watching your favorite poker bloggers all time greatest plays that week.
I guess I don’t understand what you’re asking or trying to establish here??? Do you watch BOs blogs??? If so then you should be aware that unless he starts off telling you what episode it is along with dialogue then he is likely grouping clips from already played episodes as a highlight reel. Love BOs stuff but I’d like new stuff too (AS A FAN). There, do told.
@@ME-yo4op yeaaaa, good try but you're misinformed. this is his side channel that covers hand histories only. they don't have vlog numbers like his main channel. none of these same hands were already covered. Andrew does the same thing with his side channel.
8:26 is where the quads hand starts.
for those that lack patience :)
When brad post a video.. I find I must watch
I've rarely seen aces played so profitably😊
easy play against KK
If the opponent had pocket kings, then all the money was going in regardless of how Brad played.
this all in was unbelieveble stupid. Loosing againt KJ, QQ, QT, AT, TT. All very likely hands after preflop raise. Cant believe it@@JT-gi8rx

Sooo glad you bought back the "hit the 👍 button 1,2,3=💪!" 😁😁... Feels like old times 💯
Enjoy you’re regular format with intro/outro, but 100% hands is fun too. Thanks!!
I'm enjoying you're comment.
Oh wait, your comment. Silly me.
You're. Your.
Way to go Brad! Aloha from Norcal.
anyone else notice he flopped quad 5"s, 5 5 3 at 5:35 PM?
Sure did
Your the best love watching.

Both ret@rd replies.
The correct answer is he isnt drawing dead. Brads assuming the likely outcome, but technically no, he isnt.
Dont worry too much
the raise was $120 after multiple people called $20, those hands wouldn’t be there

Are the suits wrong in the quads hand? If it's 5533hhcc, there's straight flush combos 😛 gg brad, love the content, gl in 2024!

Brad deserves more run goods & less coolers. He too good of a person. Happy New year.
On the quad 5's hand, he had outs to the straight flush... unlikely, but he still could be live. That's how bad beat jackpots are won. Killer shesh!
This was a strange one, no intro and no outro. Good poker though!
