In regards to your question about backup types, it seems like you're on the right track! With a full backup, followed by an incremental backup, and then a differential backup, the differential backup would indeed only back up the data since the last incremental backup. It's a good strategy to ensure that you have the most recent data backed up efficiently. On a different note, if you're an outdoor enthusiast or RV lover, I highly recommend considering the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It's a versatile and reliable power solution that can keep your devices and appliances running for extended periods, perfect for your outdoor adventures or when you need backup power at home. Safe travels and enjoy your camping trips!
@@ErvigHenry But if you had a full back up, an incremental the following day, and another incremental the following day, then you would need to take the last two incrementals to make up for the differential backup, and not only the last differential, is my understanding right here? (Assuming such a situation was possible)

During a differential backup, does the new backup override the previous backup so that we do not have duplicate files?
Differential back-up does not override the previous differential back-up as it creates a new back-up of all the changes made after a full back-up.

Backup backup backup I got it
Also backup.
If I do a full backup, then incremental, then differential, will the differential only back up data since the incremental backup?
Not sure, but CompTIA student guide says that you should never mix incremental and differential backups
