    The arbutus is spectacular... have you been to Powell River and rode Mt. Mahoney trails? If you haven't there is 4 trails there that are special (OG, Kush, fairies wear boots, civil disobedience) if you do I would love to guide you on a day trip to where I live on Texada island. Our trails are not on the map and only a few people ever ride them. They are in beautiful forest and have a mix of steep tech and xc tech with a bunch of cool features... we just finished a 140ft log ride and rode it yesterday for the first time.

    What a perfect looking trail! Would love to ride that! Dale, you have some of my favorite videos to watch on YT, they are very "easy on the eyes", THAT SAID: 3 part Q; A. Do you have the camera view on Wide or Superview ?, ... B. do you have your hypersmooth on regular or "boost"?, and C. 30fps or 60fps? ... I'm relatively new to POV MTB footage and could use some advice! Thanks in advance for any tips! 🙏

    Yo Dale, what the heck have you done to your video settings, used to be able to watch/stream your vids in 1080p, but now my connection doesn't seem to be able to handle the bandwidth they're being uploaded with - you do know your eyes only see/register about 30FPS, right :-\

      are you telling me that 144Hz monitors are snake oil?
      Also the buffering issues seems to be a youtube server thing; highly doubt its down to the actual video file

    • @lynxg4641
      @lynxg4641 3 роки тому +1

      @@viperrules24 to see images as motion, 30FPS is all it takes, 60FPS isn't needed or really adds little to the quality, helps if you want to slow a video down to check some action. In games, that's where those high refresh rate monitors and refreshed frames make a difference. Using it for online videos only increases the file sizes and streaming snafus.
      Thinking that maybe yeah, the issue I had might have been because I was watching it les than an hour after he uploaded, so YT might not have finished with doing it's thing making all the various files for different resolutions yet.

      @@kylegoplin Well, that's precisely what I'm doing.. The trail description nor the 6 other reviews on TF mention a dangerous gap. From what I saw in Dale's video nothing looked that dangerous, so I'm asking for his opinion given he has first hand experience riding the trail.
