Merci Jackson Browne!
I was fourteen when I heard this song coming from my brother's room and I loved it so much. What a nice song! Now I have this song playing in my car every time I drive to work!
Oh girl you must be young. This song is part of a sound track to a movie called _Fast Times at Ridgemont High_. It is used as an important mood setting aong for a scene. As for the movie, if you want to know what being a Southern California High School kid's life was like in the 1970's ... this is a perfect microcosm.
Finally somebody with some understanding of what is the best way to help people learn a song..lnstead of having to listen to somebody telling you the placement of cords..some just want the hear the song and cords written in time with the song..thank you for being the only person on UA-cam to figure this simple teaching technique out..Brett for Australia
I have known this for quite a long time, as when my family and I were in the family car I would sometimes hear this song on the radio. While it was always a good song for me to listen to, I never really gave it a second thought. That is until I read that this song actually originates from the 1982 teen comedy "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" in 2022, exactly 40 years after the movie came out. I often heard that it's an awesome movie, but it was NOT until September of 2022 that I finally got to see the movie to understand how awesome it is! And it's because of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982) that I am showing big time appreciation for this song!!! Overall, really great song from a really great '80s movie!!! God bless you Jeff Spicoli and friends!
This song brings back so many good memories. Jackson Brown has such great music 🎶 It reminds me of being with my friends and partying. Thank you, Jackson Brown.
Shortly after this came out, dude I was driving with got in a wreck, hydroplaned and shot off the road into a tree. I got out, looked at the damage and said that, he got all excited, I broke out laughing, when he got a clue he was pissed!
Wow!!! This song brings me back when I was very young in the early 80's . I'm 49 now.
Same here I'll be 50 on the fourth nov.24
