- Been doing a little more traveling leading up to the new addition to the Stache Fam.. Not like too far, ya know? But like a little further than down the road like I usually do.. While I have already been to this location this year, it produces, and it looks neat, so I figured I'd give it another go. Struggled at first, but ended up making an 8 year old kiddos day, Maybe even his whole week. PAAA POWWW!!!

awesome job Stacheman. I had a similar situation when I visited my gf in Florida. Hooked into a 5+ pound bass and gave the rod to the kid that just randomly started chillin with me. As I started to give him tips and instructions he ripped it upwards with all his might and snapped the line. He was bummed but enjoyed every second

Videos like this really make my day! I love handing my kids a rod with a fish on the hook just to see their reaction once it surfaces. There’s a reason you’re my favorite fishing channel, times like this are it! I’m down in Oklahoma and wish we had better fishing in my area but I make do with what I have.

Honestly I have mad respect for you bro for what you did for that kid. This is why I watch your channel. This is what fishing is all about, passing the lessons we learned either by ourselves or from our forefathers down the line to the next generation
This is how you foster the love of fishing in the youth of today. I had a similar experience 30 years ago, wanted to go to the bathroom at the park and I saw some fishermen bringing in trout and I walked up to them and asked if I could try. It's stuff like this that makes a lifetime of love for the sport. Thanks for being such a damn gentleman Josh!

That kids arms and chest will be reminding him the next few days that he caught his first good sized kitty. I always have kids feel the belly of a kitty because of how soft and smooth they are, helps them be more comfortable with them in the long run. Too cool!

I WOULD LOVE to take a road trip and hang out with you for a couple of weeks! My kind of fishing!! I don't have a boat but from a child I've learned to appreciate all the creeks and spillways that are available to me!! Weird coincidence..I've noticed how much you clear your throat and play with the drag...I do the EXACT SAME THING!! people used to pick at me about if...but I Was the one doing ALL THE CATCHING! LOL! BTW....There's NOTHING like seeing a kid smile SOO BIG at catching a fish! I can imagine the times when I was about his age and pulling in a huge catfish or fish period of some size...but unfortunately..there's was Noone around to capture that moment....thank God there's people like you that can make a kid smile 😃
