When I get this stuff I bring a mass to work and leave it in the break room. Even if things are gently used, I clean it up and trust me, it GOES. I especially leave it for the PSS staff whose hours can be unpredictable and don’t always have the biggest checks. It’s a real treat for them. Lots of Sephora samples and gifts with purchase get brought to work.
what a great idea! I'm not working at the moment, but I'll ask my local friends and family if they want anything. I hate to see things go to waste!

Wow quite a stash. I made the decision to stop buying skincare until I use up what I have. The only exception is repurchases of holy grail. I’ve been very successful with prioritizing and using up products. I’m done with the exploratory phase. I know what I like and what works for me! I did the same with body care! Makeup is my focus now. More conscious purchases, less over consumption, low and no buys whole still enjoying myself!
It is quite a stash. I was surprised by what I discovered. 🤦♀️ I need to keep up on my skincare stash so I don't buy too much of the same type of product. I have way too many serums! My kids can help with the face washes, SPF and moisturizers, but I don't want them getting into a huge skincare routine at a young age when their skin is still so good. I don't want them thinking about anti-aging or anything more than wash, hydrate and protection from UV rays.
I tend to over purchase because I have the excuse of my channel. The truth is I end up giving in to my curiosity. I need to be better about that and remind myself that it takes a while to finish a product. Thanks for watching today.
@@thelipstickgal lol my daughter helps me out to. She’s 12 so it only goes so far. She has definitely picked up some of my beauty habits I. The best possible way. She will scold me whenever she see a beauty purchase lol. You actually do have an excuse. Having a Chanel/ business is amazing. No judgement here. But we can all be better consumers and encourage one another.

I've had to switch to clear/see through make drawers for my counter top and clear/see through makeup bags.
For me if I can't see it, it doesn't exist.
So painful to through out expired products, but good point on skin reactions.
I like the idea of using lesser favorites for hands .. and maybe neck and upper chest too.
I over-bought skin care products for my NuFace electrocurrent device a couple years ago.
I'm hoping that products that stay sealed don't expire as fast
Taking the time to edit my collection has really opened my eyes to making sure I don't over purchase again. I'm also getting comfortable with not finishing products I don't like, or don't work for me. Even if they're expensive. I want to love everything I purchase, but sometimes it's just not for me. Thanks so much for watching today. I need to invest in more acrylic storage for my skincare. I have lots of it for my makeup, and it really helps me know what I have.
I have to do this also, I get so upset with myself for wasting products. I ordered a few makeup products from Beautypie, they have 60 day free trial period, I figured it’s great way to make sure I love it before I subscribe. Great video. Have a great weekend.

I use a sharpie to write the Daye I purchased in the bottom of the boxes because I do do the backups too❌️⭕️

I do that with my makeup, I put a little sticker with the date I opened it so I know when it expires.
I need to be better about adding dates to when I open skincare. So many things got away from me. I'm so sad. Thanks for the idea to use a Sharpie to add the date opened.

I have been slowly doing my skincare inventory. I was decluttering eyeshadow palettes today. I have cut 25 palettes so far. I need to do a second look. ❌️⭕️
This was a much needed declutter. I feel so much better about how things are now that I can see what I have, and know what not to purchase again. (moisturizer and serum) I hope the declutter at your place is going well. It can be hard sometimes.
@thelipstickgal It is hard. I have taken 25 palettes out and put them in a box. I am going through it with my dog passing away. I will wait till I feel more normal before I give them away. I just want to see my collection, too.
@@lisasmith7 I'm sorry about your dog. I never mentioned it whem it happened, but my dog passed 2 years ago. She was 17 years old, and she'd been with us since before I had children. Dogs are such an addition to our lives. I'm sorry yours is gone. 😥

I can’t use vitamin c with my tretnoin so I been using copper peptides and they are incredible!!! Started off with RNW Ceramide serum it is jam packed with everything great!!!! It is the best! Mixing in ordinary buffet peach and lily and the NIOD copper peptides are all incredible!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I used to use the NIOD Copper Peptides before they reformulated a few years back. I loved it, but the price! It's more than I want to spend on one product. (usually) I haven't tried the RNW Ceramide Serum. I'll check for it. I've been using the Vitamin C from MaeLove. I like the Glow Maker because it's so similar to the Skin Ceuticals CE Ferulic that I used to love. (again, another super expensive single item) Thanks for watching today.

My shelf was out of control. Truly! I'm so glad to have it organized, but it's still very crowded. I need to slow down on purchases. I hope to use what I have and only need to re-purchase items like Vit C and SPF this year.
Good morning Rebecca, enjoying my coffee watching my favorites, declutter videos. You are the best at describing products and if you would repurchase or not. I’m afraid I’m a skincare junkie and I too keep backups of my favorites plus new things that were recommended that I want to try. I need to use what I have in 2024 before buying more but Ulta has really good sales that it gets me on skincare🥰 I’ve learned to put a little sticker on the box that has the date I bought it so I know which one I need to grab next, I’ve been doing this on makeup too. Thank goodness you have your 2 girls you can pass things to. Praying you’re feeling better.🙏🏻

I'm so grateful that I have 2 kids who would love to use my leftovers. They're greatful for anything they can get their hands on. They also love to come to my bathroom to wash their face before bed because they can use all my skincare! It's a great way to get through all the stuff I have. 3 people can make good headway with all this stuff.
I get pulled in by the Ulta sales all the time! I'm such a fan of picking up stuff at a discount that I know I'll use. My favorite face cream: Peach and Lily. The large size of Banila Co. Clean It Zero, and so much other stuff. I should start writing dates on all my products so I know which ones to use next. Great idea! Thanks!
Just finished watching and I ordered some of those coco flosses to try out, got the 4 small sizes in the different flavors. I’m not too good at using the regular floss that my dentist gives me and I rely on the Glide floss sticks and the gum brand. Your mom sure did you good on your teeth, they are so pretty.
The Coco Floss is very thick. It's great at scrubbing all the plaque out of the crevices, but if you have any tight spots, it can be a struggle. At that point, I'd recommend flossing, and pulling the entire piece of floss through the teeth instead of trying to pop it out the way it went in.

Haha!!!! So true! I could provide skincare for my entire family for over a year with what I have. It's too much! I'm glad to have taken the time to organize it.
I also had to bin my P50, which I was sad about, but I decided that when using skincare what I really love is the user experience. A product has to be effective, but I also want to enjoy it and I certainly wasn't enjoying that awful smell, which I can't even describe.
I couldn't toss it right away, but after struggling to use it for 5 months (and smelling it on my face all day) I finally put it in the closet. It was in there for over a year. Yikes! Time to let it go, and remind myself that expensive skincare needs to work (which the P50 1970 did) but I also have to not hate the process. I'm not willing to suffer the smell of the P50.
I so need to do this with my lip products 😂! I’ve heard a lot of good things about peach and lily and need to look into it. :) Curious, what is your favorite eye cream?
I'm not ready for a lip declutter yet. I'm still reeling from the one I did last year.
Somehow I don't have a "favorite" eye cream. My under eyes aren't normally dry, so I use my serums first, then put on whatever eye cream I have on hand, or one that I've purchased as a recommendation from another skinfluencer. If I was dealing with puffy under eyes or lots of dryness, I think I would be on the hunt for the perfect eye cream. Nothing I've tried gets rid of my dark circles, so I'm always looking for a great corrector and the perfect concealer.
I have repurchased the Beauty Pie Hyaluronic Lifting Eye Serum about 5 times, as well as the Uber Youth Peptide Infusion Eye Cream. Those have been the ones I've repurchased the most in the past 2 years. Now I need to use what I already have in my collection.
Me too. Gonna start declutteting. You're motivating me. I don't have nearly as much as you but I have a lot of little samples that must go. I usually label skincare/ makeup with a date I opened it so that will tell me how old something is. That way I know it's time to throw out. I watched you today in shifts as I throw out stuff & also reorganized. I decluttered a bunch of handbags & totebags that are either never used & lightly used are now in a donation bag. 13:47 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve got so many of those Lancome serum and moisturizer samples oh my goodness I’ve got a whole giant drawer from Ulta of skincare hair stuff mascara ect samples from all the 20 piece free gift bags ( I used like 1 thing out of them ) I need to go thru all of mine too
I gave all the samples I got over the holidays with orders to my kids. They each got a makeup bag full of mascara, skincare, hair care and fragrance samples. I got 3 large gift bags with orders from so many places. If they don't use them, I'll have them toss it. I enjoy getting the samples, but the foil pack samples are my least favorite.
I have to be so careful because it would grieve me so much to throw away things that I spent money on eeeeeeek! Good for you.
It does grieve me to toss so much stuff, or give it away. I never purchase things with the intention of forgetting about them, or trying them once and never using them again. I will put a pin in my skincare purchases until I whittle down my hoard. The only things I'll need to purchase for a long time is SPF and Vit C.
I love peach and lily the copper peptide is so moisturizing and the new barrier repair moisturizer is heavenly fluffy soft retinoid eye cream I got so many tiny samples 🤣🤣🤣 of stuff free gifts all the cleansers the eye cream oh and I love the glycolic acid body lotion … I need to use all my extras on my chest and hands instead of my good face products 🤣🤣🤣 great idea!
I keep forgetting to use my less favorite face skincare items on my chest or hands. They make a difference, but I don't need them to be as cosmetically elegant as my face skincare. I haven't tried the new stuff from Peach and Lily yet, but I want to. Obviously it's going to be a while until I "need" to try anything new, but it's on my radar.

@@thelipstickgal their products are effective and it is affordable. I do not understand expensive skincare, in my experience the best ingredients I tried on me were never the pricey ones. Well you need to try a lot for the channel... I am not passionate about skincare, it needs to be easy, effective and nothing above 20-30€/product and this works for me. Talking about expensive I bought and paid full price for the Yucca palette and Sorcery ( I wanted two shadows from the palette but the singles never come) I could not resist 🤑
@@soniasobaro9127 I have an acrylic bin filling up with luxury lipsticks that I haven't used yet. Guerlain, Cle de Peau, Tom Ford, Dior, ect. I've been purchasing a lot for a luxury lipstick video. I feel excited and ill at the same time due to the prices. 💸💸💸😳🤷♀️
For skincare, I love mid priced products the most. Peach and Lily, Missha, Beauty Pie, ect. Not the bargain basement prices, but also not the luxury stuff. I don't mind a bit of The Inky List or The Ordinary, but I love products that are a bit more cosmetically elegant.

I am using Bioderma, Purito and Geek&Gorgeous and so far so good. Some of the brands you mention are not available here but I like to watch anyway

Ohh, already gone. Do you love the BP Vit C capsules? I like the texture, and the individual sized portions, but I hate opening them every day. I find that I don't do it.
@@thelipstickgal I’ve only tried the serum, but have bought the ceramide capsules twice. I quite liked opening them everyday and squeezing out a measured portion, rather than the dropper thing which is often runny and messy. To each her own 😊
