More coming right away!
This is one of many reasons I ported to Metro By T-Mobile back in 2016.
Dude yeah Straight Talk used to be good. I can't speak for the whole service but the Hotspot division is borderline abysmal.
Don't yah just love it ❤
Haven't laughed that much in years ( thanks) I really don't like taking to that guy..
🤣
Thanks for watching. Give the channel a subscribe, I try to keep the videos entertaining!
11:12 I feel your frustration! When I've had to deal with these robotic (not-real-person) things, it gives me hemmroids!😝🤪
Glad I got it all on film! Haha
@@realbranflakes I agree!
I had to buy one because Spectrum's internet has been down for almost a month and the straight talk mobile hotspot is my only backup solution until I can get things situated for me to get Spectrum to come to my house and fix the internet. Also, the screen on the straight talk router blinks when it's on the charger
Also people buy unlimited home internet for 4( a month prepaid, router cost 100. No cal less, but might say not available in your area, some people add a fake address and it works
Are you in America? Nobody counts data limits. Apparently I wasn't even connected to 5G and have been getting perfectly acceptable speeds
I just switched to straight talk and I wanted to keep my number when I switched to t mobile. They said I needed to pay money for a code. We had to call 5 times and each one told us different things.
Yeah I never got to talk to a person but their phone systems are unacceptable
I was helped by a very smart man who told me what to look for in order to get the moxie working - in my case it was the serial number. I found it later and was able to make good progress.
The moxie is complicated to fix or maintain, but it has good technology.
Many need internet that can travel with them now, and the moxie is a step toward that.
That's why you get the 100GB card for $50-$60 I think 🤔
Yeah they upped it to 100 gigs which is a lot more reasonable haha
I feel your frustration in this x) make burping at AI normalized
It would be one of my greatest achievements
😂taking it back tomorrow too
Nah fr I knew it just off the look and brand that this wasn’t good then reading a couple reviews went to Best Buy to get another one but it didn’t work out so i bought this just to try and it is horrible
Yeah Walmart claims they have a 90 day return policy but that only covers SOME items. The Straight Talk Piece of Garbage™️ is not covered under the 90 days so I wasted a ton of money.
Crazy straight talk does 100 gigs for 50 bucks now lol
Yep my experience was horrible. Customer representatives were dolts speaking shitty English and did not understand me.
They definitely did not used to be this bad!
🤣🤣🤣10:22 *surrrrrre* 🤪😂🤣
Should of been
Key in your 15 digit pin
Thank you
Activating your service please wait
Thanks all done
Yeah, but that sucks all the fun out of everything. Mr. Fun Sucker
Expensive
have u ever had a dream lmfao
It had to be done 🤣
I won’t be buying one
It feels kinda wrong to say so, but YES, DON'T!
They changed it ots actualy very good now and offer 100 gb for 45$
That may be so, but I'm not paying to find out.
does it come with the card
@@vcr7870no, it's 50 for 100gb...saw it at Walmart last night.
Can you buy this card and put it on your phone or does it have to be on this little tablet?
A year later it’s 100gb for $50 which isn’t terrible. Much better than 10gb for $50 which is a complete rip off
Yeah that's a bit more reasonable haha
You cut the video short. You could have ended the video with explaining what the speed test results were. The browser/phone was indicating Mega-bits per second (a rate) but the hotspot device was indicating MB - presumably Mega-Bytes (an amount/quantity). The two are completely different metrics. The former is the first derivative of the latter. Not exactly an apples to apples comparison test. I agree Straight talk customer service fails. Sadly, your video only barely passes and that's only because you showed us the pain involved in setup. So thanks for that.
Well if the product actually worked, I might have gone into that. But when it fails 3/5 speed tests it's not really necessary.
I got 100 gb for 50
How's that working out do you game using it?
That's a good deal in comparison but I am never giving Straight Talk another dollar of my money
@@toviwhtiley8691THIS I’m using simple mobile and after tax my plan is 55.35 but it’s only 40 gb. I do play Fortnite on it and works perfectly fine. I checked the straight talk hotspot and it has the same speeds as simple mobile but instead of 40gb straight talk has 100gb so I’m gonna pick it up today. (Btw I have a straight talk iPhone 12 and it’s always on LTE instead of 5g I connect it to my Xbox and it literally blast thru downloads. So I wonder why is my phones hotspot typically faster than the store bought hotspot.)
@stevengentzel651 can it work for data for your phone? And how well did it work?
got dat elf bar
Can't you hear it lol
I bought 300gb for 45
That's a lot more than I've heard. Most people are saying now that they're getting 100 gigs for 50 bucks, which is a much better deal. If it's true 45 bucks for 300Gb is a solid deal. Guess some vids don't age well haha Thanks for watching!
I went to the website and bought 100gb for 50 bucks.
Had that been an option I might have gone with it. However I am NOT a paid sponsor yet, but the Verizon Home Internet has worked just fine for me so far, and it definitely provides more than 100GB of data
Yall hes capping this stuff is the balm
Wat.
@@realbranflakes yeah I got my stuff to work fine
Yea mine also works fine and it lasts almost the entire month before I refill it @@ZacharyJeffriess
@@ZacharyJeffriess I just got mine today and it works great.
it's 99 for home internet router and 45 a month and it unlimited internet
message for questions
What are you talking about?
@@darrenbeller5440 Hey. I see your comments. My question: If I have a visible wireless phone account, where would I buy a home internet router? Does Visible wireless sell one for my use? What brand/model do you recommend? Thanks for your reply!
My card says 100 GB for $50.
Yeah it looks like they've wisely upgraded the product haha
50$ 100gb
The Indian call centers must be sleeping.
Unfortunately I never talked to an actual person... lol
Phillipines
Racist common we don't need that
@@airamcarrera25 I assume you meant comment. But because you say something that's true doesn't mean it's racist. Change your diaper cry baby.
Lol
Yeah Straight Talk is pure garbage. Expensive, slow, overpriced garbage...
It sure is lol I couldn't believe it. And Walmart wouldn't take it back. I'm trying to think of a good way to destroy it on cam
Nasty😂😂😂
😂😂 thx for noticing
Thanks for the video. You would probably be better off getting a Visible Wireless phone, then connecting that to a travel router. Visible offers unlimited data, and no data caps (I think that is right). "Cynical Mikey" has some videos about that. The advantage of Straight Talk is anonymous purchase, which may or may not be the case with other options.
I wonder if Generous Electric carries them at Snear's?
I am using it from my phone and just got over 200mbps download 😂
Can't this guys boyfriend help him out.....
My boyfriend thinks I'm gey and won't help :(
