I'd take Cy Young and MVP. Triple crown and Cy Young would be crazy. At this point I just want him to pitch like he did and help the Dodgers get a championship.

And today, most of the players were perfect.
I love how all the other highlights all have only like 4k views, but this has 27k. 😎 So glad I decided to follow the Dodgers in my first year as a baseball fan. 💙⚾️

I thought Teoscar, Outman, and Pahes were more impressive than Ohtani. Teoscar's baserunning created opportunities, Outman made crucial plays, and Pahes also worked hard to create chances. I believe each action contributed to winning the game. It was a truly remarkable match.

I remember when Mattingly did it. He tied Dale Long's record and Griffey tied both of them. Hadn't thought about it but it would be awesome if Ohtani ties or breaks that record.
I love how the editors involve non-related things like the dog from Puerto Rico in the game highlights. Makes its more funny and enjoyable to watch.

Dave Roberts doesn't know how to manage his line-up.
Shohei Ohtani should not be batting second in the order. Roberts is wasting opportunities for Shohei to drive in even more runs than he has, and here is my reasoning:
As of tonight, Shohei leads the majors in OPS (1.107) AVG. (.364) HITS (36) DOUBLES (11) SLG% (.677) and he's third in OBP (.430).
With all those glittering numbers, the great Shohei Ohtani has "only" 14 RBI. Three other Dodgers have more, and the major league leader has 27.
Bottom Line: Shohei is blazing hot, but he doesn't have anough runners on base when he bats. With the anemic bottom of the order, Mookie Betts is the only guy hitting ahead of Shohei who consistently gets on base. And Mookie has often cleared the bases when he goes deep.
I think Shohei should be batting fourth, with Gavin Lux hitting second. Roberts should tell Gavin to play "small ball" and focus on getting on base, moving Mookie over, and utilizing his speed.
With Betts, Lux and Freeman in front of him, and Will Smith behind him, I believe Shohei would drive in many more runs.

Why is othani not pitching? He’s not in the roster or just saving him for playoffs if so is a smart move 😮
He had major elbow ligament surgery last year and is now recovering. He has a black sleeve on his right arm that limits the range of motion of his elbow.
He won't be pitching this year; he's under contract for 10 years, and with this being his second surgery, his rehab schedule will be very cautious. There is no need to rush.
