Great story! After all my years of training and experience between military and law enforcement I always hike with a gun, flare gun, knife and 72 hr survival kit but always tell someone where im heading... im also paranoid and would have viewed the innisal encounter as a trap and would have went back for help.
@@debbys-abqnm4537 I'll check it out. I hate to say it but it's amazing how many people go into the woods with no equipment or actual knowledge. Where I live you people don't seem to realize that there are bears, mountain lions, coyotes and wolves on to of the difficult and rough trails. I can't tell you how many people I've come across that got seriously hurt while trying to take selfies... my favorite was a d head 20 something female who cussed me out at the gas station then again at the park because me and my fishing pole were following her. I wasn't. I was meeting my buddies at the lake on top the mountain. Long story short she messed up her knee bad so we built a stretcher and carried her off the mountain. She still insisted I was following her and left her in pain for hours for some kinda amusement and never said ty to us.
@@chrisdixon7099 -- We have that variety of residents in our local mountains and forests, except I don't think we have wolves (except at the Rio Grande Zoo). It doesnt dehydrate you, it lowers your core temperature. How would it dehydrate you? That’s just ignorant and anti-scientific misinformation. But thanks for the “almost-accurate PSA” I guess. 😂
Actually! 1. It makes you colder 2. PFAS / forever chemicals, which are linked to fertility problems, increased risk of cancer, developmental delays in children, and so on 3. It can dehydrate you as you actually use up more water than you get from it do to the body trying to counter the cold. Boil the water first at least, although as mentioned in 2, it’s still probably non-preferable 4. Humans messed up everything
There's various forest nymphs and such in Scandinavian folklore, i don't remember some of the names, but there's one that is a woman with a cow's tail who hangs out nude in the forest.
At what point do these characters ever get common sense, the MOMENT he didn't see any footprints in the snow and the fact she wasn't freezing, she could out run him etc, do these characters say to themselves I NEED TO LEAVE AND QUICKLY, and the fact that he continued to ASSUME she was on drugs just showed this character was completely consumed in his own limited philosophies and limited ideas. Then when she came back for him he finally starts to figure it out that he was being baited. Sadly this is the case of alot of people in our real world, completely clueless and oblivious to there environment they think they know and slow to pickup on the obvious tell tell signs in front of them. And moral of this story is "No good deed goes unpunished" So if your ever in the woods hiking and see a naked lady in front of you or walking away from you, don't follow after her, instead run the other way as fast as you can, unless you want to be the next meal that is best served cold. 😎

I actually wasn't aware of that. Good to know in case I ever get stranded in one of my winter trips to North Dakota.
I thought the reason you shouldn't eat snow was because it made you colder.
