In this video, I'll list the top ten African countries with the nicest weather, at least in my opinion.
1. South Africa
South Africa has a beautiful climate patchwork of warm coastal subtropics, hot deserts, humid highlands, snow-topped mountains and an enclave of Mediterranean weather in the southwest. The high altitude of South Africa’s interior means the country is generally much cooler than southern hemisphere countries at the same latitude, such as Australia.The region around the Cape Peninsula, including Cape Town, has a Mediterranean climate: cold and miserable rain in winter, balanced by glorious, clear-sky summers. South Africa is one of the few African countries that actually four seasons and it even snows! It is a country of glorious rainy summers and beautifully cool winters, with the average temperature being a cool and comfortable 24 degrees Celsius.
2. Kenya
Kenya is a country in East Africa that is on the equator. You'd think it'd be blistering hot, right? That is not the case, due to the fact that the majority of it is mountainous and located at a high elevation. Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest peak, is found here. This mountain's impact on the climate is evident. The Nyandarua ranges, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Kulal, Nyambene Hills, Mt Elgon, and Cherangany Hills, among others, help to temper the weather. This means that the majority of Kenya is higher than 1000 meters above sea level, with an average daytime temperature of a pleasant 23 degrees Celsius.
3. Tanzania
Tanzania is in many ways like Kenya. It is home to Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Other mountains in Tanzania include Mt. Meru, the Ol Doinyo Lengai, the Usambara Mountains, and the Uluguru Mountains in Morogoro. Many places in Tanzania have temperatures that rarely go beyond 27 degrees centigrade due to the moderating effect of these mountains. The Tanzanian highlands are always cool and pleasant. If you are a fan of warm tropical climate, Tanzania will comfortably accommodate you in the coastal areas and the island of Zanzibar.
4. Uganda
Uganda is constantly warm, nice and sunny, without ever becoming hot. At night it may cool down to 20 degrees, and during the day it will never go beyond 29 degrees. It is always breezy, it rains a lot in short downpours, and then the sun shines back again. The country in and around Kampala is incredibly green and beautiful.
5. Seychelles
The sheer beauty of Seychelles lies in its status as the premier tropical paradise in Africa. The country may not be mountainous, but the breeze from the ocean moderates the temperature. The average daily temperature is around 26 degrees celcius in July and August, 27 degrees celciusin January, and 28 degrees celcius in March, April, and May, which are the warmest months. The temperature, however, varies little between night and day and season; it rarely exceeds 33 degrees during the day and drops below 22 degrees at night.
6. Ethiopia
Ethiopia is a climatically diverse country, and there are three different climate zones in the country, and the weather varies substantially depending on altitude. The lowlands are generally hot and humid, while cooler temperatures characterise the Ethiopian Highlands. Many towns in Ethiopia lie in the high altitude areas of Ethiopia, which are characterized by an average cool and temperate temperature of around 22 degrees Celsius. It can get very chilly and reach lows of below 10 degrees in some parts of the Ethiopian highlands.
7. Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe enjoys a lovely, temperate climate.During the wet season, from November to March, rain usually falls in the afternoon. The dry season, from April to October, is colder. Nights and mornings can be as cold as 5 degrees celcius , but daytime temperatures are still pleasant and sunny. Temperatures are relatively cool, typically around 10 degrees in the morning and 28 degrees in the afternoon.
8. Rwanda
Rwanda is known as the land of a thousand hills for a reason. It is full of hills and mountains that moderate its climate, being near the equator. Because of its high elevation, Rwanda has a temperate tropical highland climate with lower temperatures than is typical for equatorial countries.
9. Zambia
Zambia experiences a predominantly sub-tropical climate characterized by three distinct seasons: a hot and dry season (mid-August to mid-November), a wet and rainy season (mid-November to April) and a cool and dry season (May to mid-August).Temperatures are modified by elevation, with the highest mean daily maximum temperatures occurring in the Luangwa valley and the southwest.
10. Malawi
Malawi's climate is generally tropical. The altitude moderates what would otherwise be an equatorial climate.The capital, Lilongwe, is located at 1,100 meters above sea level and has mild temperatures, ranging from 23 degrees in November (which is the hottest month) to 14 degrees in July.
As a west African , I know for sure that South Africa and East Africa have the best weathers in Africa
Southern Africa, not just South Africa
That's your opinion. Check some West African countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea Bissau and testify ok.

Tanzania has all types of weather...depends where or how you want to reside...in North Kilimanjaro, and south and north west is cold and moderate ...Arusha and Kilimanjaro region which is North is cold..and Highlands mbeya in south is cold.zanzibar Islands, Dar and coastline is cold...Tz has all weather and best beaches. And so many islands..

Was a teacher volunteer in a girls' secondary school for two years in the mid 80s and was stationed in SE/Central part of Kenya not too far from Eldoret. I was at about 7, 8 thousand feet / 2 thousand to 3 thousand meters in incredibly beautiful country about 15-30 kilometers north of the equator. Eternal spring. After school during the long rains I'd walk up to about 9000 feet / 2700 meters and just sit on the escarpment looking down into the Kerio Valley. Slowly, in the late afternoon, warm air would whip up the ridge and condense into clouds, then into heavy rain clouds. Would walk fast/run back to the school before torrents would drop. Breathtaking. (Often, not making it back dry.) God I miss that.
@@VijayKumar-qd4rb Hi i know you refrained to other person but i am ukrainian (from Kyiv) i can say that we have air raid sirens pretty often but 80% of these sirens are 10 - 30 mins long and dont carry any danger with them (false alarm) and we dont have many debri at least in downtown of kyiv. hope this helps

Goodness you've never heard of snow capped Mt Kilmanjaro in Tanzania? It even has glacier.
In addition, it snows in South Africa and Lesotho ! Lesotho has ski resorts ! And snows also on Mt Kenya, Kenya, the Atlas mountains above Morocco and high peaks of Ethiopia!

I'm from Namibia and I have to say South Africa's weather is felt in Namibia. When it rains, snow, hot etc we get the same effects here somehow not extreme but we know there's a weather change in SA when Namibia's weather changes.

Africa as a whole has great weather, no need to go anywhere else, hot .warm. and cold. As a white man from Europe I live in shashamane Ethiopia 🇪🇹, and the weather is just perfect, it can be cold at night but that's good for sleep time. No need for that garsly air conditioning. Blessed love.

Uganda's soil is very fertile. The only problem is that the red soil is too red in Kampala such that it makes it look dirty. This to some extent applies to some part of Nairobi as well.
Ive been to mombasa kenya. Looks lovely but pretty hot. I think Uganda has the best weather.

These countries are found mostly in one region of Africa. Thank God we are so blessed in Eastern Africa, particularly in Uganda - the pearl of Africa. Even the wild animals know it. No wonder we are also called the Cradle of Mankind, meaning that it is where the human species originated, having left the region around 50,000 to 60,000 years ago, before settling all over planet earth. I think that the weather and the abundance of food had a lot to do with this. Today, we take this abundance for granted, but it will not last unless we are prepared to preserve what we have inherited and to be good custodians in order to pass it on to succeeding generations. @@Churros1616 The normal average is around 25-34 degrees Celsius in the lowlands. While in the Ethiopian Highlands the average temperature in 24 hours ranges from -20 to 20 Celsius.
South Afrika tops this list because of her size & a variety of climatic conditions: tropical, sub-tropical, alpine,hot desert, Mediterranean, for instance. The size counts in her favor foo.We have all FOUR seasons!

Zimbabwe has amazing temperate climate. It doesn’t get too hot and neither does it get too cold. There are 4 seasons in Zimbabwe including winter from may to august where it gets really chilly that sometimes snow falls in areas eg it snowed a few years back in lower Gweru and Nyanga. It does get a bit chilly especially for our friends who visit from the tropics and African interior,But that’s on very rare occasions. The eastern highlands are amazing….lush forests with all year cool temperatures that rarely go above 24.

Ethiopia is Home to 80 percent of Africa's tallest mountains. pick point ras Dashen and bale mountain and the lowest point -123 below sea level called dalol. Within this range of altitude you can enjoy different climate zones.

Ethiopia is sixth on this list, south Africa 1st followed by Kenya. I like your last sentence, stating east Africa as a whole. No need to be subjective besides It's usually one's opinion on what's the best place comparatively. Where's Gabon, Congo, Burundi, Ghana, Zaire Mozambique on this list. Generally Africa has a diverse and wonderful climates so let's celebrate it all.

I lived for a year and a half in Tanzania. Tanzania has great weather and lots of breezes. Tanzania is a beautiful country. I have been to Mombasa Kenya also, very nice.

Not even close to East African weather. In South Africa we experience below freezing winters. -10degrees Celsius. You’d wish you were back in East Africa immediately.

What i can say is that uganda should be number one cuz its only in uganda where u can put on open dresses through out the year,their weather is moderate,And my visit there showed me how beautiful africa is,anytime is rainy at the same time sunny oh my gosh uganda is beautiful non of these countries you listed u can compare to ugandan weather and its the only country i think in africa with pure best waters no need of adding any water guards to use it oh God .

Uganda has a region in the South Western and the weather is temperate with snow on Mount Rwenzori.

@@Kato9436 Highest mountains in East Africa have snow on their peaks. Kilimanjaro being one of those. Global warming has changed climates but also some regions of Africa once received snow in their winters but not that anymore.
Unfortunately can’t say the same for some of us in the center. We almost never experience anything below 70s (Fahrenheit)unless it’s at night. We constantly struggle to breath during the day’s 100 degree plus weather 😂 we have to make planting trees a priority

My country guinea is also diverse in wether. Wet and coastal on the atlantic part, cool and mountainous in the center (futa jalon highlands), dry with savanah in the east, tropical and rainy in the south
I've never been to Africa but Africa being so big the second largest continent on earth to be exact just behind Asia anyway I'd imagine Africa would have every type of climate everything from scortching hot cold rainy and snowy to hot humid wet rainy and hot to temperate and just right all depending on what your definition of perfect weather is.
