Hi, thanks for your comment. The actual spelling of this word, which derivates from vulgar latin *tropare + latin "nomen agentis" suffix -tor, is "trobadour" in Occitan language and trobador in Galician-Portoguese, the language of Cantigas De Santa Maria (cf. CSM 206 Dized' ai, trobadores)
