古き良き反逆者/I’m good old Rebel
1.

Liberals are invading our city. We once had a beautiful center of the arts, but now it's being invaded by LGBTQ+ narcissism. The only good thing about Liberal dominance is that they're not producing children, so one day we could have a solution.

As much as I love your good old nation (and I do) don't neglect to mention that you started it.

"I'm a Good Ol' Rebel" was created as a poem by former Confederate major James Innes Randolph in the 1860s you should change it to CSA military song but thank you so much for this! i love it!
omg. Thank you! I didn't notice it because I was copying and pasting from "Battle Hymn of the Republic"!
@@nevergivein your welcome! haha
How was a song mourning the loss of the CSA in the civil war wrote before said war even broke out?
Did it start with different lyrics?
@@moritamikamikara3879I think it’s a typo. He meant 1860’s it was after the war.
@@moritamikamikara3879 After the Confederacy's loss to the U.S. in the American Civil War, "I'm a Good Ol' Rebel" was created as a poem by former Confederate major James Innes Randolph in the 1860s.[1][2] Its music was based upon the Minstrel song "Joe Bowers". It is not known who initially created the music, with a claim in 1864 attributing it to "J.R.T." and an 1866 sheet music copy ironically dedicating it to Thad Stevens.[3]
"I'm a Good Ol' Rebel" was first published as a poem locally in Maryland in 1898 but was published as a song nationwide in the April 4, 1914 edition of Collier's Weekly.[1][4] The song is anti-Unionist in tone, expressing hatred towards the U.S. and its national symbols such as the U.S. Constitution and U.S. Declaration of Independence. It reflected a view held by some ex-Confederates who were reluctant to accept Reconstruction with the United States and an expression of the bitterness and anger they felt after the Confederacy had lost the American Civil War to the U.S.[5] However, it is speculated that the song did not reflect Randolph's personal views and was intended "... to illustrate the irreconcilable spirit of the illiterate in some sections", as it had been sung and passed through oral tradition throughout Southern bars.[4]
The published version initially contained only four verses, but individual performers have added their own verses to reflect their own opinions on the United States.[5][3]
Have listened to your CSA songs more times than I could ever admit to anyone that I know irl, thank you for your work!
Same here :P
They really are great rendition in Japanese. But probably also the only one.
The last true americans died with the CSA in 1865.

Kiritan is a good old rebel ❤
never give inさんのきりたんの影響で『風と共に去りぬ』を読み始めて、北軍の軍服が青色、南軍の軍服が灰色だったことを知りました😊
At the start of the war the uniforms were very mixed which caused much confusion. I believe it was late 1861 or early 1862 when most of that was finally fixed. Also during the war there were needs for uniforms all across the south but the governor of South Carolina would not share his uniforms. He had so many uniforms in storage in 1865 that they used those original uniforms to make the movie gone with the wind in 1939.
A new Orleans regiment or division or what it's called had really fancy blue coats and in battle they were multiple times shot buy their friends in different regiments by accident
Thank you for this! God bless Texas!
also, Kiritan's expression at 1:17 is cute. I like the little things she does that relate to the songs.
Indeed, I'd rather have the Constitution without the Union than have the Union without the Constitution!
The song literally says it hates the constitution; how is your point connected to the song?
@@jesusisballinLincoln violated the constitution and the states rights thats litterally the whole reason why the civil war started genius

Point lookout prison camp was in Maryland, on the shore, across the water from Virginia. Many on both sides stress and died in prison camps due to mistreatment, mismanaged supplies, and cruel jailers. At a Union prison in Chicago (camp Elmira I think is the name), the warden would have civilians arrested for bringing food for the prisoners. But the only person on either side who was executed for war crimes was in charge of a confederate prison. Henry Wirz. I still believe everyone in power just wanted to blame all the problems on him to keep attention off every other war crime.
The Dixie-Samurai Alliance is still strong!

"...And starved at Point Lookout."
Hmm. Now I can't help picturing there being a Dixie flag Easter Egg in F3, or the F4 Point Lookout mod.
That is the reference of all the special hats in fallout there, and the original reference of the Easter egg of the POW camp there in the game. It may also mention the original POW camp at one location in the game, I do not recall for certain if it does.
@@billlexington5788 : Finally played the DLC via Tale of Two Wastelands. Shame there's no Confederate uniform to find and wear, just lots and lots of hats.
Ah, well. Mods might solve that issue.
@@Chibi1986 who knows. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were uniforms if we get a South Carolina Fallout. The governor of South Carolina had hoarded 90,000 uniforms during the war (refusing to share with other states). There were enough that these uniforms were used to film the movie gone with the wind.
As hilarious as it is punctual in recent times.
