- Former super middleweight world champion Caleb Plant will hold a Las Vegas media workout as he nears his highly-anticipated clash against super middleweight rival David “The Mexican Monster” Benavidez headlining a SHOWTIME PPV on Saturday, March 25 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions.

@@groovetraxxxgingerbreadman1282 Benavidez has great defense coming in that people don’t credit. He catches shots and slips while walking forward. Caleb doesn’t throw a lot of punches. Watch for Benavidez catch and counter.

Benavidez doesn't have the tactical/calculated pressure prowess of Canelo or the fight IQ.
This fight is gonna come down to the body shots.
Exactly and David with his high guard will leave his lower body susceptible to body shots. David's body-punching prowess may look good against tomato cans........Plant is a completely different level........and deep down David Knows this. He's never faced a fighter with the elusive/defensive prowess as Plant........nor the speed....footwork/movement.

He got a killer stepping in the ring with him soon. Will David slow down after 8th 9th round? I think that’s what plants team banking on. Stay away first half of fight and push towards second half.
I think it’s the Complete opposite Caleb starts to fade in the second half of the fight can he keep the pace up 12 rounds if David doesn’t respect his power and goes to the body early it’s over for plant tbh.
