In this video, we speak with two transgender individuals who share their personal experiences of not being able to find work, facing discrimination, and not being accepted by their own parents.

@@robustguy4700 man it's not whether they face there or here, the question is that people need to understand that there is life in them, just like us and it should be respected and adorned.
Yeah, you are right my guy, its so sad to see that people has so much expectations and those expectations don't have them in it. So sad that our country is lacking in so many things, sometimes it just feels that why can't we just improve ourselves. Even by a bit everyday can do wonders.

I want to share a small incident that happened In Bangalore to me. I was shopping in a busy place called Malleshwaram. As I was walking a guy tried to corner me. I was so scared and tried to move on but he kept cornering me. The usually busy area was a little sparse that particular afternoon. Suddenly a transgender came from no where and drove that guy away. She said take an auto and go. Be brave to face such men. I gave her a 50 and she refuses to take it. I remember she said I do ask for money but I didn’t save you to get money. You are like my sister. Go home and be safe, I was in tears. Can never forget her help in my life.

Thank you for covering this issue. I am from the LGBT community and the amount of hate and discrimination we face is so rampant, be it online or in real world. Love it when people with so many followers raises these issue so that we are seen in positive way.
There's a difference between intersex people who where born that way and people who like same gender or transform to other gender using surgery not saying it's wrong but also not saying it's right

Fact: "Transgender" and "intersex" are 2 different thing 😊

@@Priyanshu-rh1up "Transgender" gender means someone who born as a boy/girl, then he/she change his/her gender to the opposite gender. Transferring gender from male/female to female/male.
On the other hand "Intersex" are born with chromosome disorder. "intersex are also known as hijra .
Transgender belong to "LGBT" community but "Intersex" doesn't .

What a beautiful and powerful video sarthak. Brought tears to my eyes. As a student of law i was always felt sorry that even though i want to help the society will discriminate me as well. I have a dream, someday when i have earned snough money I'd open some kind of business/factory or mill where I'd employ only trans people. I want them to give them a place where they can work without discrimination and get equal pay. I want to make all of them as shareholders of the business whatever they work on. They get a salary and a dividend. Then i want to go on starting a new business and follow the same.

You would have to educate and train them on your own and even after all this people could boycott your product or services but if it got accepted you could become a successful business man
Even if you start something like that, people will start accusing you of spreading inequality by employing only trans people, frankly people will always find it unacceptable, theres no right way

I was touched and literally got goosebumps when she said Selling our votes for money means selling INDIA for money...I really wish they get a fair and equal treatment from our society. Society is all about people, then who gets the authority to decide who will be a part of Society, who will be excluded....In my neighborhood, there's a kinner and we didn't ever discriminated with her or excluded her coz who r we to decide if she'll be a part of Society.
Their simple approach and asked for their basic rights made my eyes full of tears ... god bless them .... this video is definitely a lesson for me ... thank you sarthak bhai for educating us both theoretically and sensibly too

Heart touching story
From now I started to respect all these society members
So heart wrenching, sincere prayers for their well being.
Mujhe yaad hai kuch hi mahine pehle mai ladka banke mere tuition gayi thi. Zyaada kuch nahi, bas thode baal tuck in kiye, oversized shirt pehna, aur chal padi. Biologically, I am female, but that day, I wanted to present myself as a boy.
It was a fifteen minute walk from my home to tuition, and in those 15 minutes, jitne log mujhe aise dekh rahe the jaise mai koi alien hu, jitne log mujhe taad rahe the, has rahe the, mazaak uda rahe the, chhed rahe the... I wanted to cry. All in 15 minutes. Uske baad se mai kabhi public mai ladka nahi bani, chahe kitna bhi dil karta ho.
And all of this was 15 minutes. The transgenders/intersex people of India go through this discrimination their whole lives and that day, I understood their pain. And I understood how brave they are to be themselves despite society's opinions. I salute these transgenders.
