Watched the show for Gerard stayed for Robert Sheehan as Klaus. He was amazing and definitely my favourite character. 4 was my favorite in the comics too and it's funny how different his personality is in the show but I like his personality better in the show tbh
SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW: Saaame! I've always loved comic Klaus but he's portrayed as this calm and collected badass that's over everyone's bullshit and always has a plan to save the day. I think that making Klaus' arc about getting sober, coming to terms with his powers and not fearing them, and also discovering what he's capable of was a really smart way to make the stakes higher (as you don't have a quite OP Klaus to swoop in and save the day) and it also makes his character more interesting and relatable, and his relationship with Ben really helps that and they just make an amazing duo
They all are different and....SOOOOO diverse. I thought "They just missed to put an oriental there"...and then Ben appeared and i'm still laughing.
@@TattoedKiss it makes sense, tho, since Hargreeves searched for children all over the world. I personally am quite happy with all the changes they made and how they make sense in the show, for the plot and moving forwards into possible future seasons. I legit haven't been able to find any differences that I dislike yet, everything seems really thought out

I understand what you mean. The things he wrote in songs and said in interviews and live shows saved me from myself for many years. He is an inspiration and an amazing role model. He had his downs but got back up and always spoke about not giving up, not giving in and that one should fight their inner demons with no fear. I'm so happy that his comics were brought to life on the screen. I hope for nothing but the best for him and his family ♥ ♥ ♥

And... that's how you interview women celebrities about their work. It should be about their work, and not the clothes they wore, how they went on a diet, or physical preparations for the role. Glad to watch/hear an interview without ridiculous, cringey, sexist questions.
Btw, congratulations to the cast, crew, and Gerard for an amazing show/story. Bought the very first comic when it first got released but wasn't able to purchase the rest because I am too poor to do so.
I mean they do the same damn thing to male celebrities and how are their workouts and diets and other thing mostly super hero roles. I mean it pretty much equality 🤷♂️

I think that we can all agree, regardless of gender, actors should be asked about their work on set and not their diets or workout regimens. While those topics are fodder for tabloids they can become repetitive and annoying when the audience want to know behind the scences details.

If Gerard hadn't written it I don't think it would be the same. Klaus is totally a Gerard character. Not that he's like Klaus but I can see him creating a character like Klaus.

I loved the Séance in the comics too but honestly I loved the character Klaus in the show even more!! They are technically the same character but they are so different
