the older c&c music in general was quite nice. I didn't play it for some 15 years now, but I STILL get the random "I'M A MECHANICAL MAN" stuck in my head sometimes. ;D (even though I think its one of the weaker tracks)
Very true about the importance of game music. I listen to WoW classic music&ambience in the background every day while working, even though I haven't played wow for quite some time (and started somewhere in 2008).The music alone can just bring you back to the game, it's that good.
I was just jamming out to that C&C Ost this morning. Redwood studios worked hard on their soundtracks. Red alert and tiberium wars have some great songs as well.
I wish I could see how that 2v2 game would've gone with even 1 or 2 Arclights splashed into Grubby's comp. It felt like the opponent's game plan was like 90% chaff while some phoenixes shot over the top and Grubby decided he was going to make his own chaff ball instead of clearing the opponent's. I think when he was trying to figure out how to counter the Phoenixes and landed on Mustangs, the question being asked should've been "how to get the Marksmen I already have to connect to the Phoenix?" and the answer was probably a more aggressive chaff-clearing approach because of how much the enemy's board was leaning on it. It was a good game, but I wish I could pull the replay out of like a public archive to see how splashing some Arcs or a Vulcan would've done there.
True. Frank Klepacki was 19 when he finished the OST for C&C. And he donated tracks for player-made Tiberian Sun mods like twisted insurrection. Overall good guy.
Duuude! Talking about games that are made by there OST.. halo 1 and halo 2! Are legendary games because of the music...the timing the involvement. It's great
From now on whenever a streamer refers to something they do like "we're going to be doing this", in my mind I'm going to translate that as "me and an orc"
Highly recommend Rise of Legends soundtrack, obviously also the game. I don't play it as much anymore but the soundtrack is extremely long and I still love it. Fits the game well, very orchestra heavy
Omg! Grubby! I have the SHP9500! Get the V-Moda Boompro mic to go along with it. GOD tier mic audio. It may even be better than your external mic setup!
Having already watched a bunch of games, the majority do not understand at all how to keep the pace with the help of castes. And how to use them. 1) This should be used to get more experience for units. Using all three was a stupid idea on the part of the opponent. He lost a lot of experience. Not to mention more complex combat mechanics.
To better help you with your videos and live streams. Record something that’s 10 minutes no music just of you talking. Then listen to that no headphones, while it’s playing add music and adjust the settings on the music to where it’s not overpowering your voice. Done usually with your mixer. If that doesn’t help ask Rat he has a very good balance of music to voice
Act on instinct is one of my favorite C&C sound tracks.

Who wins the chaff war, wins the game.
C&c music still feels as epic as it did back in the 90`s one of the greatest soundtracks of all time
hell march is peak C&C

The mechabellum chat when he was in the lobby between games was hilarious
That was an interesting strategy from your teammate.

I think the "fight, win, prevail" command and conquer song would be great, too for Mechabellum
As soon as I heard him talking about how music is important for player retention I subed because finally a smart person
Man goes aerial specialist and builds 0 air units. His goals are beyond our understanding.
Woh! That TA music hit me in the feels. So good.
the use of castes is a reference to the quality, not the quantity, of units.
Warhammer 40k’s Darktide is a chef’s kiss for in game music

CIv6 music fit very well for me with this game

ER ray with range and barrage = air strom caller
Well played!
Mech rage sledge is good at chaff clearing.
Just think
Command n conquer
Music over graphics all day
Or Battlefield
Funny he actually mentioned CnC
2v2 is cool, would love to see more ! Maybe invite a friend/viewer on comm too

Imagine Hollow Knight without in-game music lol :D
I prefer no music, as it is a distraction. Maybe one day we can watch UA-cam videos with option to disable music track ;)

The music was too interactive to fit the thinking of the game and the listening of the stream
Wooh made it! First comment bb!
