I was just looking at it. Today was a day off. It’s really starting to look like something. I’m very happy with it. I can picture it now. But still lots to do. I’m working on Ralph tomorrow. I’ll be making a video. 👍
Chris ty, this is the point where it all starts to come together. It’s hard to believe it was so rough when I started. But like your doing my friend one patch at a time. 👍🤓
Great progress Dave. Great use of the sawhorses. Do you know if they are high enough to wheel the chassis in and out? I have four truck axle stands and two 8ft scaffold poles I use and I can wheel my chassis in and out with the engine in situ also, but the saw horses would take up less room, so I may look into that 👍🏼
I believe so Philp, I didn’t check. They are I believe 29” high. Very nice quality. The reason I didn’t get them for that reason is because I have the electric hoist. That really is handy and adds a feeling of security. 👍 have a great weekend buddy.
Hi Dave looks good do you find it easier to use rattly cans when doing small areas I've not started mine yet but I have a small spray gun and was thinking about using it
I believe the rattle can is easier for small areas only because it’s fast. You’re not having to open cans and mixing primer, reducers. Than you have to clean the gun. There’s really no right or wrong way. But I know there will be more things sprayed over it eventually. Also I will roll epoxy primer on and foam brush they bare metal. It’s to seal and protect it from flash rusting. It will keep nicely till I start final body work. Reason I use this is again for not wanting over spray all over my shop(garage). Again I personally am a DIYER and the way I do things keeps evolving. Have a great weekend.
@busterstravels1534 Hi Dave that makes sense Think I will do the same. Thanks for the information, I always say every day is a school day I've learnt so much from your videos Thanks
Keith I’m so glad to hear that.ty My way may not be the best way but I believe after all the hard work our projects deserves the best we can do as DIYERs. You Rock! Thanks for all your support.
Another very inspiring video! It looks great!
I’m really enjoying the build, not to mention the fun I’m having with UA-cam. It’s a great way to make friends and communicate.
Nice job. One step closer.
