I saw this tour in Charlotte NC. I went on a lark. Wasn't a fan really, but I liked "Life During Wartime" and "Burning Down the House" from radio exposure. I left the building a huge fan. The show was mind blowing. The sound quality, in building I had seen many shows in before, was exponentially better than anything else. The songs were fantastic. It was as if Alex freakin Weir (guitarist with white Stratocaster) was wired into my brain (could have been the MDA doses). Thanks for exposing this to a wider audience. Your friend should thank you.
@@THEDEEPDIVE its basically a live version of the studio but live is always better. (sometimes) Tina's base really stands out. ua-cam.com/video/vmmvtX0IUHU/v-deo.html
we are recording remotely.. we live states apart and have different camera setups. We were also still learning. You can see on our newest episodes we have gotten better. Thanks for watching Steve.
One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands
Awesome man. Loved seeing my cohost really enjoy it. This is way outside his comfort zone.
Talking Heads were very popular on MTV in the 80's. They were unlike anyone else.
Excited to do more

Thanks for sharing your experience! - Justin
While I like this version you should play him the original from 1977. It's amazing! The base line in this song is everything 🙌
James listened to the studio version after making this episode and really hated it. Glad I went with this one.
@@THEDEEPDIVE no no, not the studio version. Listen to the live version from '78.
@@friki-tiki got a link to a particular performance you have in mind?

@@friki-tiki Production on a lot of that eras studio albums is a hard sell for me.. this clip is awesome.
Stop making sense is the best concert movie ever. I love “the last waltz” of course but it’s not even close to SMS in my opinion.
I love playing this song on Rockband!
I bet that is a lot of fun!
@@THEDEEPDIVE slightly different version though.... ua-cam.com/video/aQIfkqG9fnY/v-deo.html
On eof the best concert films of all time. Top ten at least.
easily.
Why the weird angles for you two?

fun video, but I find it hard to believe that two white American dudes over the age of 30 have never seen the Talking Heads Psycho Killer video
I have seen and love Stop making sense. James (left) has not... and believe it. We don't lie.
Has anyone checked for a pulse for the guy on the left. He must be the least reactive person reacting to a video.
I think he was just stunned by it. If you had never seen anything like this before it does kind of stop you in your tracks.
Not the best version. No Tina Weymouth on the bass.
I prefer this one but I do love Tina's bass playing on the song in general.
Why is it that reactors talk so much?
Just listen to the song by yourself if you don't like it. Geez.
