A kid pulled the Wemby out of /35 down here in Austin and had it in his pocket, brought to our LCS. And was in shock, shaking asked to send it to PSA. And then disappeared lol
Backyard pulled a total of 12 Wemby WS and few 1/1s i think it was 4 or 5 can't remember 😅 and hitmanrips pulled 1 congratulations to all breakers of course 😁
Haha it’s like nobody cares much anymore about pulls from any channel that has the word Backyard in it lol 😂 it’s pretty much the same dudes. The same backgrounds and everything. Funny how they still pull all the big cards over everyone else. Just glad we are seeing less and less of any backyard channels. On here. Unless it is an impressive card you just gotta see. Other than that it’s like more smaller channels need more love. And Ian is doing it the right way.
In my humble opinion, and with great respect Ian, I think getting a card graded “Authentic” is a terrible move, unless it’s vintage and trimmed or poor 1. If I see a card graded authentic, especially new cards, in a case at a card show or on eBay I immediately assume something is very wrong with it. Otherwise why not get it a grade? I would argue it’s less valuable than a psa 4 or 5. Would I rather have a PSA 8 (or a 7 or 6) more than an “Authentic”? Abso-friggin-lutely.
So much fun to see these monsters get pulled. Keep up the super watchable content! My best recent Pull & Sale was a chrome Walker Jenkins auto from Bowman 2024; EBay $299 sold raw & quick in late May!
