its crazy how you can still find more movement techniques to this day, the source engine is very special
nothing is really new-found though, simply because it isnt recorded and posted does not mean it is non-existent, i have seen many random players do some movement technique ive never heard of, seen any movement players do, or anything; doing something different from everyone else in a tapstrafe is essentially a new movement tech, its when you find something that only you can do when it is truly special
The last game to be this interesting was Halo 2. Some really cool glitches/mechanics. A lot of them got patched out though like rocket and sniper cancelling with the sword. There was also sword cancelling to climb with an enemy (similar to the Ballistic animation cancel glitch), launching Ghosts with the Wraith vehicle, putting two tanks together and flipping the bottom one over would send the top tank flying, super bounces which were locations on the map where there were texture glitches and it would send you flying if you jumped in the right spot. Getting outside the maps etc.. So many awesome glitches.
Apex wouldn't be nearly as fun without these mechanics, to me at least. It's a shame when things get patched though like mag jumps or the zipline magnetism

@@moreyos agreed, however with Apex the developers have made it very clear they dont want it to be like Titanfall, thus it is more catered to the controller community as the movement is more straightforward and basic; whereas in titanfall you can do a grapple slingshot into a figure eight strafe into a wallrun into a roundabout etc...

Makes sense, similar mechanics have existed in games over the years. I always experienced things like this in Apex but as a consequence of bouncing off doors/etc with high ping and it always reminded me of those boosts.

Love you content. Do you have a “wall bounce over wall video” I’ve seen people do it and have only done it on accident not purpose.
Like instead of super gliding, wall bouncing over that same wall. Or maybe you can even wall voice over and superglide on top for the master movement guys.

You can do the same exact thing with supply bins, except it gives you insane height and distance.

So for mantle jumps, mantling counts as ground contact, but for snuggle glides it doesn’t?
The process of jumping out of the mantle makes you touch the ground, but you get the speed applied before that

do you know if these speed buffs also work with normal doors?
I don't think they do due to how they move, with it being rotational and not horizontal

When should you interact with the door?
Hold E until the door opens, you need to tap strafe time it right.
Pretty hard to do on controller unless you play claw lol
Right before you touch it, and jump off before it finishes moving

Controller player can tap strafe they gotta change their inputs to match the keyboard configurations on their pc

No. Going to have to practice it in game. Maybe one day they'll add a sliding door. I see they're making some improvements to the range in the update coming next week

doing 90 left on controller is impossible, if you have same tips share pls
On xbox elite controllers you can bind left and right to the back buttons
@@Treeree I have additional 4 buttons on dualsense but still can do it if I bind it, I don't like your advice because I'm using those buttons for jump, heal, sit, melee. I bind every button on my controller and I don't have buttons for one movement tech
It's not impossible. I play on console and can do either way. I agree it is harder pulling the stick exactly left rather than exactly right but with some practice in the firing range you'll get it. It's just a case of building muscle memory
