i don't want to disappoint you , but it took me 3 years to play like this guy, now i can learn songs with these type of playing and let met tell you, it's not as easy as it looks
Near yeah i mean a year is a realistic expectation to be able to play like that, but three weeks? ud have to strum it instead of fingerpicking whilst hitting harmonics and having a steady beat going between chords.
If you’re older than 10 years, your brain has already slowed down it’s learning process. Muscle memory takes years to play at this level. Just don’t want you to be frustrated when you don’t sound like this guy. He’s in the top 1% of guitar player skill. Let’s be honest.

I was trying to find the original HDIYL that played at the WTC Plaza (which was lost 20 years ago) to be found, we found it one day before December 30, 2021.
8 is just playing 8, is the harmonic 12. To play a harmonic 12 note or "" you lightly hold your index finger over the 12'th fret and strum the associated string. There are some tutorials around UA-cam how to play harmonic notes as well. In the video here he uses his pinky finger on the 12th fret, very lightly touching the strings and strums. (Also because of the CAPO on 3rd, 12 becomes 15)
The easy version is for sure is very beginner friendly and I gotta give you big props for this man! Keep up to the good work and I am looking forward to more of these "easy" versions for those who are starting learning guitar!
@@ODOYCHEAPFRED If you know numbers, you technically can't not know how to read tabs. The numbers are the fret numbers, the lines are the strings, try to picture that on the guitar.

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure its just an exaggerated slow strum. Essentially getting every string to sound one by one but in a fluid strum.
