Honestly anyone can be a model nowadays. We're in 2024. Ive seen short models, fat models, ugly models... Each brand uses different types of models based on what they want to advertise.
I was looking at a clothing shop online that featured a model in a wheel chair. I couldn't actually see the dress she was wearing and would not buy it because of that. It's gone too far....trying to include people at the detriment of actually showing the product.
@@HolographicCathawk honey it is an advertising statement, many times the dress isn't even worn. The main goal is to show that the brand cares about minorities, not to show the dress in a beautiful and useful way. You can't see the dress either when a zara model is lying down on a couch...
I watched some old Hollywood movies and was surprised that the female leads didn't have this very prominent jaw that models and a lot if actresses jave nowadays. Their faces were kinda more delicate and they also didn't have full lips.
I don't favour how today they emphasised the robust look for European models; i feel the less robust ones are a lot better. In the supermodel era, most of the European models aren't robust. They look closer to the “average person” compared to the women you displayed here.
I was locked in my room most of my childhood and did the " mewing' exercises because I had no water and it helped. I am a odd mix of Ashkenazi and Italian and have the square jaw etc from years of this. I guess something good came from my abuse.
i was LITERALLY *just* trying to educate my mom on facial robustity and how jaws are formed, bc she was saying that we have “naturally” small jaws + mouths bc a lot of our family is thin, and i had to school her on orthotropics basically 😭 i was also telling her one of my main insecurities was a lack of facial robusticity and she was acting like it didn’t matter. but i had to tell her, no. you just don’t know what to look for when it comes to facial beauty/harmony.
This is right for specific modeling look. But there are loads of beautiful women/models who have softer faces. Jenifer Lawrence, hayden peniter, miranda ker, selena gomez. This is a feminine, youthful feature. As the video said this is more androgynous.
@@lauramay5361 i agree with you but literally all of those women have amazing facial robusticity. especially miranda kerr + selena 😍 my face naturally looks very skinny and my cheeks are a bit sunken, and i have basically no jaw 😭 so i almost look sickly + it’s obvious my bone structure didn’t develop fully/properly. maybe i’m using the term “facial robusticity” wrong but the women you listed all have plump, healthy looking faces, with prominent cheekbones even if they don’t have a jaw like angelina jolie 🤷🏾♀️
@@angelface333 Aww ok. I'm currently undergoing orthodontist treatment to make space for two teeth that was extracted when I was young. Because it made my whole jaw set back and not develop. I have an overbite. They use braces then an operation to bring the jaw forward. I had filler for my cheekbones. But use it Wisley if you down that route. There's reports now that it stays a really long time, maybe even just moves. But I'm so much happier with my face already. It's a skeletal issue caused by the receding jaw. You can correct it. I'm 37 and correcting my bot and teeth without the surgery has already improved my bone structure so much.
@@lauramay5361 okay, thank you for sharing! i also have a recessed jaw and likely an overbite. i plan to get braces within the next year, and if i’m not pleased with the results (which i doubt) i’ll consider double jaw surgery. i don’t think i’d use filler until i was somewhat pleased with my face shape, but it is definitely something to think about 🩷

plastic surgery made their full lips full and there's a procedure that removes fat from the cheeks to create that look. This is BS
