On the last day of cutting you should turn your lights on when you start. See how long it takes for mom to notice.
Always enjoy your Mom's comments. Hope it stays dry for you guys.. Take care
Your mom does not look old at all she looks like she is in her late twenties but hats off to her for being a great operator and you guys for doing what u guys do I bet it isn’t easy with where our economy is right now
combines under the lights harvesting always a a great sight
The passion of harvest in moms voice is truly inspiring. It’s great to see the love of wheat harvest through her. #muchrespect
Another amazing video! Keep it up, big operation y'all have there. That is one full grain cart lol
Thanks mom for taking the camera for the day. Know we just dad to video for a day!!! I have confidence he’ll. Great video
Nice job. I couldn't imagine seeing 9 combines in the same field around here. Non of the fields are that Big. Great video thanks for sharing.
Nice to see your Mom on this video. I enjoy her comments. It must be a mad house with 9 combines in the field.
Hi Mama Hayden :) it's nice to see and hear more perspectives, no offence to Hayden but the more the marrier :) besides I think Hayden might be afraid that you'll steel the show LOL just kidding. Don't see Daddy Hayden much though ??? Another great video :)
@jetegtmeier71 hi! Daddy Hayden aka, Jeff, has been helping run the bagger on this particular farm. So unless we break down, he’s pretty far away from the camera. On any other farm he runs one of our trucks mostly, but has also been in the grain cart & combine this season….oh & the fixer of all things that break lol. Check out some of our Nebraska harvest or move days to see him in some trucking action. 😊
Do you think Dibs could start something up while your checking the feederhouse chain?? I think I'd leave him out when doing something like that. Nice commentary from Mom too. John T.
No
Enjoying your videos Hayden! Nice to see your Mom on there also. Hope you didn't get that much rain!
Been enjoying the video's a lot. Many years ago, I ran a grain cart keeping up with 3 combines running irrigated corn in Michigan. A couple of video's age when you were talking about why Cody did what he did, I so get it! Would love to hear how your family got started in the custom harvesting business. Possibly do an interview with you dad? Again, thanks for sharing.
When you get done doing that, you come back to Texas and start doing corn beans.
great video Hayden. Hope you find out what that noise is? good luck buddy
The 9RX with the grain cart looks so cool🔥🔥
Your mom gives another perspective on combining
What camera did you buy?
What part of North Dakota are you harvesting? Do you harvest in Canada?
Great site!
Hi Hayden. Re - "The feeding in sounds like it's about to plug". As a suggestion check out your fingers on the auger. The cam that controls in and out may have been altered by that rock a few days ago. Steve. New Zealand wheat farmer
How big field do you need to justify 9 combines on it. We are too small to even imagine it.
Did you close up your grain basket before the rain? Also, why did your parents name your sister "mom"? LOL🤣😂😇
9 combines thats a large trip around the field thanks for taking us along Hayden
Do you have to upload new GPS data to every machine every year when you come on site to keep all the auto functions operating precisely?
Love the vids❤
Is that winter wheat or hard red or cps. ??We finished our peas. And our cps wheat isn’t ready yet. Swathing the canola and dedicating crops are what is going on in my place.
Spring wheat
It's terrible that you have to steer your combine. Back in my day, we had no problems with the horses not walking straight when pulling the combine, lol.
If we still farmed with horses you would have no food to eat.
Does the gamer farm about 12000 acres?
Hi Hayden.
How many hectares or acres do you grow wheat every year? And what is your average yield per hectare or per acre?
I get concerned about you , going in the header to check on things. Especially with Dipps still in cab and combine running. Please be safe!!
There are tons of safety measures that unsure it will not turn on. You have to be sitting in the seat, then have the separator on then the header on… almost making it impossible for dibs to cause a accident. Thank you for your concern though.
Do y’all do any farming for yourself
Beautiful.
How does Emma fit into the harvesting crew ?
Emma isn’t on a harvest crew she is this farmers hired hand. Although she is great on a harvest crew as well as a farm hand.
How big is that farm
How many acres are in the field your described as massive?
Some are 1,800 acre fields
@@HaydenOnHarvest Mike Mitchell's family on their SW Saskatchewan operation of over 40,000 acres have one field at over 5,000 acres that I believe they are running about 7 combines. A few years back Mike’s dad combine burnt down in this field and although they had the water truck plus tractor & disk in same field the fire prevention equipment was still over 2 miles away at the time the fire started. Non existent cell coverage so someone had to jump into pickup to drive a distance to call volunteer fire department.
Took nearly two years for insurance company to finally arrange to remove burnt out combine from field.
@gavinperry7237 Yeah, Canada has some huge fields, I have always wanted to go and see for myself but maybe one day. Also I watch all of his videos and it was sad seeing it burn, only thing that matters is that no one got hurt. You can replace metal but not a life :)
How many combines do you own?
I own 0. My parents own 2.
Its truly amazing at the end of a good solid day how many acres guy gets done , we are straight cutting canola and we are just chewing away when we can cause now its decided to rain every other day when it could have all summer up in alberta anyway 😂
I have only straight cut canola once and it was with a macdon without a pea auger… it was a terrible experience lol. I only had to cut 150 acres though.
@@HaydenOnHarvest honestly it hasn’t been enjoyable either lol first day I plugged my machine and on the Claas machines it’s a nightmare to unplug so that was fun, just crunches all day long cause the straw is somewhat green still so it’s a bit sketchy lol
@@HaydenOnHarvest we’re running an fd240 and fd 140 and they handle it good
@@damonens9478 good luck with that lol
@@HaydenOnHarvest the claas machines are pretty resilient when it comes to keeping the grain in and the straw and chaff out we were the only ones running today in the moist straw but boy don’t plug them fuckers
You listen to music in the cab ? Or is it just silent?
You can listen to music although I typically don’t. Maybe when I get tired through the day/night I will turn on something to keep me awake but that’s about it.
I’m always listening to music. Just not very loud though.
@@jackkanderson Listening to music isn’t always a bad thing everyone is different and some people have to have music to focus :)
It is hard to eat and combine it must be hard to film and combine
Neither is hard lol
@@HaydenOnHarvest not in the cart when th3 crop is good
