- Greetings extended family!
On Africa Day 25th May 2021, we decided to visit a part of the Gambia River. There were traditional boat by the shore that we could ride along with our guides. It was a very fun and exciting day for all of us because we got to experience a side of the culture of the Gambian people.
This is the reality of a lot of Gambians living in the country. And I am so grateful I got to experience it.
Special thanks to:
Modou Bah
Michael, Abdou and the rest of the guides

Yes! Sister Marie and Mam Binta , you have done wonderful again ! Your presentations give me more hope to return to the Motherland and especially The Gambia. Believe me, you are blessed to live in The Gambia. InShallah , I can be a part of your wonderful land! When I see the youngsters full of life and great cheer, it gives so much hope to the future. And you are always so positive ! Africa is the future of the world and the world’s future rests upon the strong shoulders of Africa.

الله يحفظك يا حبيبتي
As Salaam Alaikum! Where are you?
I was in Joshwang
When I was in the Gambia 1984, I was asked not to take photos of people especially women as this would, take their "Spirit" away. How times change on One's Spirit.
Lol I wasn't born back then! And some people are rather modest and don't want to show themselves too much... if you ask before taking pictures I'm sure it'll be fine
Can Modou be reached via IG?
I'm not sure... 🥶
As Salaam Alaikum is your cusin married?
Yeah she is 😆
